The thing that I just do not understand is why he was put in a position like that. You usually do not put your best players on the kick-off against a team you are much better than. The saddest thing in my mind is that it was an unnecessary risk to take given the circumstances and potential loss. Th...

Some important games this afternoon with finals from followthepuck.com: Edina 7 Wayzata 0 Nice little bounceback for the Hornets. Any details on this one? Also... Hopkins 2 Minnetonka 1 (OT) A surprise here. Details? Edina was simply too much for Wayzata. The Trojans pulled Simcoe after the first p...

Re: ACL tear

If I'm not mistaken, Qyntel Woods tore his ACL in HS and didn't have it repaired and played basketball throughout. Maybe it was a minor tear, but ACL's aren't life-threatening. Hopefully he recovers to 100%. Quickly is even better for his sake. You are either mistaken or it was a very minor tear. I...

I agree it would be a very difficult decision. Either way he will recover and thats the important thing anyways. How did the Edina football team do anyways? They won 49-6 over MPLS Southwest. Zach's a great athlete, and a great person, here's to hoping for a speedy recovery and a successful career ...

A Complete tear is a long recovery but it could be a partial, they on't know until MRI is done. Also could be more damage to cartilage that would ba a factor. So in a sense yes it is possible for him to be back but would you risk it? He stayed at Edina and wants that HS trophy. What would you do? L...

whats with the student sections being in the upper level why not at lower level where we can tell how big the crowd is For some of the larger schools, I would assume the reason is that it would cost less to acquire tickets in the upper deck. I don't know for sure, but I would think the schools eat ...

And it could quite possibly be a Benilde-Roseau final.

Or worse yet, a Benilde-Hill final. Now that would suck!

Well that's a sweeping generalization. Although Edina fans are not creative in the slightest, they attend the games in large numbers, and are reasonably loud.

Considering South's goalie is really, really good, winning 3-0 does not show "how bad they really are." None-the-less I'll take Roseau by two, they're just too good.

I heard he wanted to stay at St Thomas but he wanted to play quarterback and St Thomas wouldnt let him because they had that Schmidt kid. I believe that he would have rather gone to Edina in the first place, however his mom had other ideas. I think he had been contemplating a return to Edina for a ...

Burnsville should have a good student section they are one of the biggest schools in the state, their graduating class is probably twice as big as Jeffersons and many other lake teams. There have been some cocky comments from Edina supporters on here, I agree. What is it that makes you think the team is cocky? I guess it is more the fans than the players. He's definately a floater/suckhole/goalhound, but he's really good at it. He's got some bad habits that will need correcting at Harvard, but his talent is undeniable.
