Now that's not very hard, our student section has no spine. As soon as we start losing normally you'll start hearing "Let's play football" or something to that effect.SECHockeyFan wrote:White Bear has a great student section. They sing the school song after every goal. Some very creative chants come out of that section.mnhcky65 wrote:I think White Bear has a pretty good student sections. It just shows White Bears' dedication to their team.rochcentury908 wrote:Now that's not very hard, our student section has no spine. pretty sure there were about 30-45 of them and they were just as loud as rosevilles student section which had atleast twice the amount of people. white bear also used cahnts instead of a white board cause they are so loud they dont need one.OB1 wrote:Shoulda seemed how lame the white bear lake fans were at roseville. Just wait until the Burnsville game. Burnsville will show you who has the best fans.EHSFan08 wrote:Edina has the best fan turnout in the metro (student AND adult) and when its a big game the students turn out in record numbers. Hornets have to be in the mention for best fans in state... but Roseau has the most die hard fans in the state. But definitly Edina for metro teams
At the Anoka vs. Rapids its was rapids whole town versus about 30 kids in the Anoka student section and Anoka won in the "Weve Got Spirit" chantnorcon wrote:Attended four games in the metro this season against very good programs. Aside from the 40-50 kids in the student section, the crowds were absolutely pathetic. How can you not draw fans for a rematch from a state tournament game the previous spring? Regardless of who we are playing up in Rapids, it's always a good crowd and if it is a traditional rival or big name team coming in, the place will be sold out. Must be too many other things to do in the metro.
Yeah Edina fills the whole rink every game i've been to its great. Also Roseville has a rowdy student section and is actually in to the game.EHSFan08 wrote:Edina has the best fan turnout in the metro (student AND adult) and when its a big game the students turn out in record numbers. After seeing the facebook incident, I think I know what they're doing...hockeylover wrote:Burnsville should have a good student section they are one of the biggest schools in the state, their graduating class is probably twice as big as Jeffersons and many other lake teams. The school that doesn't seem to have a big following but good team and huge school is EP. I always wonder where all their fans are.
thats funny because i am pretty sure we went to state last year in football, took 2nd in cross country back to back years, were softball state champs two years ago, track conference champs the last 3 years and our baseball team took 2nd in our section last year. So please explain to me how our sports are only good this year? and we have had superfans since 1997 when our football team went 1-7, so i am pretty sure were not fair-weathered fans. thansk though.SECHockeyFan wrote:Agreed, just a case of fair-weather fans.parrish4president wrote:my biggest pet peave....Rosemount...because A. Last time I checked nobody cared about Cross Country, Softball, or Track.numerotrois3 wrote:thats funny because i am pretty sure we went to state last year in football, took 2nd in cross country back to back years, were softball state champs two years ago, track conference champs the last 3 years and our baseball team took 2nd in our section last year. that statement was for the person who said our sports sucked. and we have had superfans at football games since 97 as i stated before. and have had major hockey fans when this class was all sophomores.Reidy09 wrote:Last time I checked nobody cared about Cross Country, Softball, or Track.numerotrois3 wrote:thats funny because i am pretty sure we went to state last year in football, took 2nd in cross country back to back years, were softball state champs two years ago, track conference champs the last 3 years and our baseball team took 2nd in our section last year. Fat Kid was suspended from sporting events for his antics. But, his suspension was up for the start of sections. You can't miss him, he's been wearing a blaze orange poncho. He, along with the other superfans, will be in full force at the Coliseum to show the Roseville student section (can you call it that?) how it's done.OB1 wrote:But where is the fat kid this year?pepper brooks wrote:WBL go wherever there team goes. I agree they were one of the loudest group I have seen in a while. They helped get the Broncos pumped up for a 7-1 victory over the Fort.Vapor XXXX wrote:I Falls studet section when they play Fort Frances. They start to get the USA chant going and it gets very loud in Bronco Arena.
