It was a shot a Class A hockey, you're just not bright enough to realize it. Get over your jealousy of EP hockey, cut the B.S. about school enrollment and get back to worrying about your own bunch of underachievers. Wow. Buzz kill... :? 8) Sorry, I don't particularly care for HHF. He's as poor a re...

C'mon HHF! Why the pot shot at Class A hockey? Behave yourself. The potshot was at EP for all the hype they get and the size of their program compared to Hermantown, not even a private, but yet they only manage to eek out a one goal victory...also I like to get Hockeymn1 riled up ..... :shock...

Yea Karl this may be one of those examples of where a tight loss moves a team up. I think both teams should move up after this one. You think EP should move up because they eek out a win against a Class A team?? Granted Hermantown is good, but EP is 5 times the size and supposedly so great, my gues...

was an even strength goal... but whatever... no doubt Rau is a good player, top players on both teams shined... I like to see it that way and have a hard time giving "top" players credit when they don't perform @ crunch time... Skrbich from Herm has proven he's a big-time player as has Ra...

No one posted the final. BSM 8 AHA 6 Shots were a lot for BSM and less than 20 for AHA. BSM had, I thought 4 ppg, but someone said there were 5. If AHA stays out of the box they win. AHA had 2 short-handed and one ppg. BSM looked real fast, but they have taken on the play like Edina and crash the n...

Great game - BOTH teams looked VERY impressive. Hill has amazing depth - even a powerhouse like EP does not have that kind of depth on their 3rd and 4th lines. I love that Brewski kid - he is carring a couple of underclassman on his back and making a bigger impact than the 1st two lines. I am guess...

I ref 75-100 games a year and I've never seen a cut from a Messier helmet. In fact I bought for myself and my younger son. I do have about 40 stitches in my chin from a lousy Protec mask in high school. Check how loose the straps are, more than likely they are too loose. blindref - how can we trust...

bstarr15 - I have no idea under what conditions these helmets were tested. I have witnessed players cut wearing M11 helmets from contact with another player or the glass. However, the worst injury I saw was a lacerated ear that resulted from a player being hit by a shot. Has anyone seen or heard of ...

A good mouth guard and a strong neck will prevent concussions more than a helmet. Until they figure out how to inject foam into the skull, this will be a problem. But the helmet should NOT be the cause of the injury, i really hope this gets taken care of soon. ps gerry, you see all the stuff going ...

The flexibility of the M11 shell is integral to the protection system of the helmet. It is designed to work similarly to a "crumple zone" in an automobile. So many incidents of head lacerations seem to indicate that there may be a flaw in the system. A flexible helmet shell simply seems co...

Lots of misleading information has been communicated about this helmet by its marketers. They have successfully played on the fears of coaches, parents and players. Check this link for some facts....

I believe that those predicting that EP will rely solely on Kyle Rau for offense will eat their words. This includes Doug from FTP who claims that Rau will need to carry the team on his back to get them to St. Paul this March. I don't know - Flintstone is a big EP hockey guy - if he says Rau's going, I highly doubt it's not true, although I know we all wish it weren't. 1) I never said he would get hurt 2) I said "IF" he gets hurt 3) Just because he hasn't been hurt in the past, doesn't mean the kid is invincible. 4) My point was, all teams deal with injuries in all sports. I'm pretty confident that someone on EP will miss a game or two this year due to ...

Yo Freddy: EP now plays in the new Lake Conference with the following teams: Edina (2 of the 3 games) Wayzata (2 games) Tonka (2 games) Hopkins (2 games) Yo Blueblood, My point being EP has one of the toughest conference schedules (conference really means nothing), and also one of the toughest non-...
