Cedar Rapids Rough Riders, backup for now. Some of the Sect 6 teams are going to put a hurt on LF this year, payback is tough.

Very nice high school carreer. No question on that. However, he has done NOTHING yet at college level, let alone the NHL. Maybe give the lad a few years and see how he turns out? The Brotens were stars in the NHL, this young man is not even CLOSE to that yet. Give him some time. As for Hanowski, the...

Black Ice, I am on your side here. I congratulate the boy, that is a great night's work!! GR3343 says it is all "relative" based on who the competition is, etc. I say good for the lad!! He has done something he can be proud of for a very long time.

GR3343: You say it is all "relative". The thread started out just giving a kid a little pat on the back for scoring 7 points in a game. Leave it at that you knucklehead. Good for the kid. I guess then every state record should be "relative" and I guess you, in your infinite wisdo...

GR3343: I like how you sign your posts: "Character is who you are when no one is watching" It shows great character to bash kids. Really smooth. Good for the kids, they may never paly another minute of hockey after high school, but they sure had a big night the night they scored 7 goals!! ...

Onemove, I am not a Flyer fan, just interested. I'm a milk truck driver from Roscoe, but I scout for the Philadelphia Flyers in my off hours. The shadow would be fine, one less guy for the rest to worry about. Yes, LF is top heavy in scoring, but show me the teams that are in the top 10 - 15 in eith...

one(not so good)move, I do not keep a list, but it has been tried, with the winning percentage LF has over the last 3 years, it would be difficult to say that a shadow has worked. Alex has had difficulty scoring in the past, this year is better, however, I would D up and hope Hemmingway has a good g...

"And by no means, from what I hear, the officials calls didn't decide the game." You are correct, Nip, no spelling errors, but it is certainly an interesting sentence.

Nippen, I hope you are a good official, because you are not very good at spelling, grammar or putting together an intelligent sentence. Bruce, acutally, Hemingway DID try out for the Fargo team. He would have been one of 3 goalies and decided to stay in school, you are close, but again, incorrect. K...

nipe, you knob, don't you think someone would try it if they thought it would work?? I would expect that even Little Falls would have a couple guys who could score skating with Hanowski, then it is their points. Is there skill players with him or two guys on wooden blades or what?

So, outside of the FACT that Schmidt and Hanowski are really good hockey players, who else do these two teams have? Or was it just the two of them on the ice? How did their lines stack up against each other? Does LF finally have a third line? Did Cathedral have talent very deep?

One more thing zima, nice grammar: "I recently attended hockey fest in Alexandria last week". How long ago would it have to be to not be recent? Also, make a decision on Berglund, puck hog or leader?? Keep practicing on your little sisters keyboard, you will get better.
