Re: Hanowski
I agree...I do think Edina Bantams A's could have won more than one section in Class A and several other teams would have been competitive. Put Fink kid on STA and he is a dominate player...while it is true that 1/3 of Bantam A kids will not play HS it is also true that 1/2 of Edina's would start fo...

Re: pride
Minnesota Pride teams...Not All Star teams..most are comprised of good players whose parents see the value in paying alot of money for their little superstar to compete in LP. I know several who have played and know that everyone is good but most are not the best player on their team. Most Triple AA...

Re: Hanowski
Schroeder is the key player on STA and the focal point because of his ability to make the eye catching play. However, Fink brings more to the table as a dominant player and a player that can take over a game. Schroeder can be noticed from time to time but Fink is a presence on the ice and his play i...

Making a Statement
For those of you that know and those of on teams that were upset or possibly nipped out of State Tourney Berths in Bantams. Is it possible to make a season ending statement in the VFW Tournament? Do most of the teams compete in it or is it non competitive?

Re: Silver Regional
Thanks Buffpuck...I looked the contact info up....appreciated. I look forward to the State Bantam A tourney this season. I also wanted to check and see if Buffalo was trying to go to State VFW Tournament and what District they are in 5 or 6? The Silver region had some decent teams and some great gam...

Blaine is one of those teams that can beat anyone in state and lose to practically anyone...they must have played at a high level to make it???

I think Fink is the best BA player in the state...unfortunately there isn't much around him on Hopkins and one man teams normally get beat in playoffs...

Edited by: Frozen Four at: 3/6/06 2:10 pm

Re: WBL vs. Orono
Orono won D3 but played inconsistantly at times and I think they fell victim to being the favorite...being the favorite only puts a target on your back and you get everyone's best game...

Re: Thanks
Joshdog...I agree with your opinion of the players who stood out. I thought #5 from Buffalo was most skilled and the kid from New Prague was stronger with a lot of skill as well...I forgot to grab a program...does anyone know who #5 is and if he's a 90,91?

Re: hockeykid 14
I drove down and did a little scouting this weekend in Mankato..watched the two semi final games and must say I think Buffalo was the best team...however, it seemed like every shot Owatanna took went in...Buffalo outshot Owatanna 13-2 and was down 2-1 after 1 and their goal was scored by an Owatanna...

Re: Buffalo Bantam A
Dasher- I saw them play four times this season...The move the puck well and their number one line is very good and fast. But the real strength to them is their defense...they have three kids who are very solid and play at high level. Not sure about their goalie. I have not seen anyone from d4 this s...

Re: Buffalo Bantam A
Yes Hutch beat Buffalo...that was a shock...However, Buffalo did outshoot Hutch 50-16 in the game...Hutchinson goaltender played very well and can be dangerous...Maybe Buffalo is nothing and should be overlooked in this tourney...

Re: Sartell bantam a
Buffalo dismantled Sartell 6-1 in first meeting and was missing two of their best players for second game....Alex outplayed Sartell badly and so did LF...I would say New Prague should not have any trouble with them at all...
