Aaron Crandall will start the year as the number 2 goalie for the Bulldogs with a chance to compete for the starting job. Great to see with Aaron being such a great kid. Bulldogs should be very solid again this year. Hope everything goes well.

funny how none of those names ring a bell You must not watch hockey then because the Great 8 tournament is GOOD hockey. I think you have some problem with the MJ that is very personal because you are very reluctant to admit that it is not that bad of a league. I bet you were cut from the Wildcats a...

And for those that think the MNJHL is on par with Junior Gold, take a look at this. These are the players from last years great 8 that played this season in the MNJHL. Section 1: Jordan Yaggy-Rochester Ice Hawks Jordan Prescher Smerud- Hudson Crusaders Tyler Prihoda- Edina Lakers Eric Wobschall- Ed...

Slapshot, I'd like to know which team you have seen play besides the Wildcats (they are a joke, i know)? I know the Ice Hawks just got back from nationals in which they made it to the semi's. A team from the CSHL (which most say is on par with the MnJHL) won the tourney, they had to beat 2 EJ teams...

haha do not play in the mjhl it's nothing but a bunch of washed up goon hockey, varsity is much better. the minnesota wildcats of the mjhl is the worst run, least developing, lousiest junior team i have ever had the displeasure of laying my eyes on. i mean honestly if you play on that team, you nee...

you may think more scouts go to mshsl games but the difference is, from the mjhl, many players move up to the nahl and some go to the ushl, which is where almost everyone has to go now to play d1 hockey, so that is a mute point sir. :P i'm not just referring to the guys that move straight from the ...

have you ever watched a game? the level of play is not nearly as good as varsity, they also get almost no scouts, while varsity hockey gets the scouts and the fans. the mjhl will draw about 50 people who are mostly parents to a game. Yes you may have some scrubs in the league, but there are also so...

I like Lou too but the studio host and the woman reporter are terrible . I don't think the studio host did a minute of prep. I'll guess he's not from MN because he doesn't seem to know anything about the players, teams, towns, conferences, etc. Darby's doing a really nice job. I completely agree......

Should be a very good game, interested to see which freshman, Coatta or Lavelle, will have a bigger impact in this one. Both are very impressive hockey players. I think that Tonka's ability to cycle will be the X factor, if they can generate offense down low and work it to their D1 blueline, I think...

Ya never understood this one, always got warned before the game about it then just un-zipped mid first period. Never got talked to once about it after that.

Re: Biggest Hits At The State Tournament

There were quite a few big hits on Thursday at the State Tournament. It reminded me of this classic state tournament hit: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pRy9KH57dl0&feature=related ... What other big hits do you remember over the years during the State Tournament? One of the best HS hockey hits...

LMAO! C'mon give Housley a break. He's actually gotten alot better since the first session. Maybe it's because he's tired and not talking as much, or he's reading his annual Minnhock review... Maybe it's because he had the extra couple days to prepare with Stillwater getting knocked out in the sect...

Re: WBL see you next year

What game were you watching GFD? White Bear was in a 1-3-1 neutral ice trap to try and minimize HM speed. This forum should not be used to bash coaches and players it should be to report scores. If you are truly a WB fan, you should be more supportive or don't come to the games. Unlike HM; the coac...

I am a student at edina high school and I was sitting in the student section the entire game. From what I know the athletic director only told us to stop after we scored the third goal, and the only reason he could do this is he had an area to watch the game from below by the zamboni doors. There i...
