I definitely was embarassed to be a panther fan when I saw that. Some of the boys tried to play to the crowd and got thrown out for being too emotional. I saw Pauly lose it and I heard from one of the kids that he was threatening a player from SLP? Real classy on his part.. Was in the stands, heard...

The loss to Irondale is only going to make the Panthers want this W even more. I think that we all knew that Spring Lake Park wouldn't go undefeated this season, and I think that the weakness of the first half of their schedule definitely caught up to them. The Irondale goalie brought a stellar eff...

Re: Eveleth-Gilbert tournament

Heard from a source that Spring Lake Park beat Park Rapids 8-3 in the championship game of the tournament. That makes them the only team besides Minnetonka that is still undefeated, as the Panthers are 12-0. The teams 0 in the loss column will be challenged by Benilde, Totino Grace, and even St Fra...

The Panthers schedule hasn't been on the tough side, but they are playing pretty good hockey right now. I got a chance to watch them play the Saints, and although the Saints aren't anything to talk about, i was impressed with the depth on offense, defense, and even the depth in goaltending for Park...

I see slp going undefeated until benilde. They have a very weak schedule. Only competition will be benilde and maybe st Francis. I think they will probably beat tg.

No respect for spring lake park? Its fair to say that they haven't played fantastic teams but despite losing their top two scorers from last year they are averaging 7 goals a game. I believe mound westonka hasn't broken 2 goals a game yet this year? They don't have to score more than 2 with a solid...

st.thomas and breck

breck takes a stunning loss in OT. although sta is always a good team, i though breck would take this one. their goalie kept them in it. he had 52 shots on net. that is way too many for a team that is supposed to be a #1 ranked team. very good game, thought breck would of done better.

sta and ssp will be the teams to beat. That's a big win for park but Marshall is mahtomedi. And saying tg has shoes to fill is true, but what about park? Tg lost in a scrimmage to sta by 1. They lost delisle. I'm 80% sure park lost two players that contributed to about 75% of their goals? Sounds li...

sta took it easy on my squad and sat a lot of their good players I think they were using it for a tryout or something. Tg will be lucky to finish 4 in their conference. they have no scoring. good defense but on offense they seem really small and are no real threat!!!! well im glad somebody on here ...

Obviously St Thomas Academy is the team to beat in this section. After that though the next four teams are pretty close. South St Paul, Mahtomedi, Totino Grace, and Spring Lake park are all going to be close in talent. I heard that Spring Lake Park beat Mahtomedi in a scrimmage up north this weeken...

Wilcox keeps an average team in every game, gotta give him the nod. agreed, but average team? south st.paul has a lot of talent. easily a state contender, that being said i still think breck is gonna dominate class A this year. It's about time someone talks about this section. Such a talented section STA SSP SLP mahtomedi tg. for class A section 4 needs a little more hype, I'd say by far the toughest section to come out of, STA South St.Paul TG Mahtomedi Spring lake Park. all those teams should be ranked, reading some scrimmage scores tg and slp look to be pretty good contenders, tg lost to sta by 1 and slp beat mahtomed...

Are you asking me?? Well, if you are, I would suggest that the best freshmen from the 2008-09 season might be the best sophomores for the 2009-10 season. Of course, I am just focusing on scorers here, so the defensive defensemen and goalkeepers will need their own cheerleader. Just to finish the th...
