For as far back as my memory goes (4-5 years), I have always thought the preseason LPH poll overrates Duluth East. It's no different this year.

Edina at #6 is also a bit of a shocker. Though they definitely have some talent there, I do sometimes wonder if a few of the people with votes in this poll sometime don't bother to look and see who's graduated. Some teams seem to get votes based on tradition alone.

Other than that, I see nothing horribly out of line in AA. I'll weigh in more properly next week.

If the rankings prove true, then the FSN game of Blaine@Duluth East @ Heritage should shape up to be a great game. Looking forward to it even more now.
Go Hounds.

for class A section 4 needs a little more hype, I'd say by far the toughest section to come out of, STA South St.Paul TG Mahtomedi Spring lake Park. all those teams should be ranked, reading some scrimmage scores tg and slp look to be pretty good contenders, tg lost to sta by 1 and slp beat mahtomedi and hermantown, maybe they should get a look? south.st paul is just a no brainer, their goalie is stalock number 2 and has a lot of scoring power, i dont think the northern sections are as tough as people think.
