Not only is Lou Nanne a legend, he's actually a decent guy.

So what if he has grand kids that play hockey, and he just happens to know a lot about their team?

Leave Lou Alone!

Hudsonhawk, I think you might have "inspired" Burnsville tonight. I heard it was a 2-0 win for the Blaze. They get another chance at AV Saturday! I've seen Burnsville play as well as anyone in the state - it's tough to figure this team out. Who will show up? BTW - your #30 might have play...

Theoretically - Rochester and Lakeville South could play again this Sunday. I'm scheduled to be there for the 5:30 game, but would come early to see this match-up. Lakeville South has been an interesting team to follow. They win the Bloomington tourney, by beating some pretty decent teams (maybe cat...

hawk I was told Apple Valley had 34 skaters go out for bantams. They have a small bantam A team, a small bantam B2 team, and combo with Bloomington for bantam C. SEE! That's what I'm talking about. This is simply amazing. Has to be a BIG tribute to the coaches, and the integrity of the players. HH

I've watched most of the D6 playoff games. My prediction of Minnetonka, Edina, and Eden Prairie turned out incorrect. I admit it! Apple Valley is playing their best hockey of the season, congratulations to that team, and their new coaches. When their goalie is HOT - watch out! Burnsville played two ...

OVER-TIME? Whoa.... I would have expected a 3-4 goal differential.

Was the Eastview goalie just that HOT, or did Burnsville try to phone this one in?

Did not see it, but I believe it. When I played bantam a, our home refs ended not less than 3 games, and possibly closer to 6 early. The games got too rough. I want to ask though, was it really that messy? Generally in youth hockey these days the thing gets stopped before anything big happens. This...

The incident at the end of the game was pathetic though. Surprised no one here is talking about it.........interesting. HH Hawk, you can't just throw that out there and leave us hanging like that :D What happened? OK, here goes. I fully expect to be flamed, ridiculed, and possibly egged while walki...

Well since I wasn't there I thought I would ask someone. Who looked better, hot goalie, and etc. thats all. Sorry for asking! Both teams are pretty evenly matched. Burnsville has some very skilled players, and maybe the best coaching around. They are also FAST. Edina has their own skills, but backs...

Re: score

what about fair play points in EP-Bvl game? I only watched half of this game, so I don't know how FPP turned out. When I left, the only penalty was a tripping call on Burnsville, which resulted in a penalty shot and a goal. Does anyone know why Burnsville's goalie Mallon was sitting on the bench in...

From the Midwest Regional Holiday Tournament in Bloomington:

Eastview 2
Andover 0

NOT a TYPO! Last goal was an EN.

Mounds View 6
Jefferson 5

I quit watching, so this was told to me by a Jefferson parent, and not confirmed. Anyone know for sure?

Burnsville 7
Arvada CO 0

I've been out of town on business, and came back in time to watch the Apple Valley/Burnsville matchup yesterday. Burnsville came out and played a good 1st period, while Apple Valleys goalie held them in it. Things fell apart for Burnsville after this, and it ended up 3-0 for Apple Valley. I do my ow...

The way it appears looks like it's going to be a close race to the finish line for Blaine, Andover, Coon Rapids, St. Cloud and possibly Elk River. Elk River beat St. Cloud 5-0 just recently, but has had a tough start with 4 losses already, St. Cloud and Blaine tied, Andover beat CR 4-2, but accordi...

CNF,

nice job! I pretty much agree - 100%.

Did you see Minnetonka vs Burnsville? Your post is the first I knew about it. I've seen both teams more than once this year, and actually thought Burnsville had a chance.

My vote is still Woodbury #1.
