Re: HS Player & UMD
Good afternoon, Since the Dogs ended their season going 1-7 and sporting the 57th scoring offense out of 59 NCAA teams, how will this hurt their recruiting efforts with some of the best high school kids - ex. Brown, Saintey, etc. :?: Personally, I think the staff will find it very hard to get kids ...

Re: asked
I asked the question How many high school championships to make a point. BANTAM HOCKEY like SQUIRT HOCKEY doesn't equate to squat in the long run!!!! What happens in Centennial from 9th grade to 12 grade that this area is not a fixture at the state tournament? Don't tell me Junior/NTDP/Privates, if...

Lucia is pushed in, from about the top of the circle, shot on net, goaltender covers and Lucia wacks it in before a whistle. 9 games out of 10 I'm tipping my hat to Lucia for a heads up play--Gophers get a bounce and move on. In fact the outcome I'd been hoping for cause if we're really lucky we'll...

In the WCHA he doesn't have to interfere, just be in the crease. However, he was NUDGED in. Why did the green light go on before the red light is my question? Because the goal judge was slower than the clock operator. Thats all. Green light goes on when the clock stops, red light goes on when the s...

YOu took the words out of my mouth. Doig made a bad decision and i am sure it had something to do with his kid. Although, his kid did get alot of time. I dont know what he was thinking. Er ist ein Strohkopf. Du bist ein dummkopf! To Doigs defense, Ward left him hanging and he had to find a replacem...

New Prague has an opening. Principal Tom Doig told Coach John Barger that they will not be renewing his contract for next season. Its terrible this happened John was a great coach, had a great first season, and the parents already ran him out of town. One year and he's gone????? :? You have to be k...

He's not getting recruited by any D1 schools for a reason- too small and not a good enough skater. Also, looking at what most of these high school kids have done with their bodies through weights and work-outs you have to wonder if he has the same off season work ethic as those that are going on to ...

Re: Edina
With Giles behind the bench ain't going to happen. Wally Chapman...well than we are talking a very nice run for the Hornets, well into the future. It takes 3 lines, and Edina has the numbers. You need to use what is in the tool box. 2008 Roseau and Edina teams are proof of that as a short bench all ...

I would commend the ENTIRE Hill-Murray TEAM. Their success in the state tournament was based on a Team performing as one unit. One or two players were not burdened with carrying the Team. Every member of the Team did his job. The Team's goaltender made the saves he should have made and controlled h...

In conference play, South faced teams like Burnsville, Rosemount, EP, Eastview, Jeffereson. All teams that could compete in this tournament. South didn't have the guns to win, but could hang with Hill because they have been playing against this level all season. You are correct sir! Playing that ki...
