Mayo had better play 3 periods, they played 2 against a pretty poor Century team and were only up by 1 after 2 periods. The Farmington/ JM game suprised me but then again when your goalie is more concerned about getting a life size face tattoo on his butt 2 days before game day maybe it shouldn't. ...

Stars have fared well in most of the non-conference games this year. Couple of bounces here or there and they would have more respect. Team is due for a nice game and I see it coming against Jefferson. Everyone has been wanting this matchup, although I cannot think of a reason why. The past does no...

If the coach is to blame for anything its keeping someone like this on the team up to this point. The rest lies on the shoulders of this kid's poor attitude. Suck it up and play your role. The coach is 95% to blame on this one. How can you not know this kid after 3 years of coaching him? How can yo...

C'mon goph, what's your agenda here. Lets trash Ftown? The coaches? I'm guessing if Besse missed the bus, Pauly would find a way to pick him up. And yes it was a freshman so lets keep his name out of it. The only thing going on in Farmington is a bunch of crybaby players and parents pouting and acti...

One class 8 team tournament. No more complaining on how weak a particular section may be or who should be A or AA. Strap it on and play and if you're good enough, you'll make to the X.

The bottom line is that the coach can control the game. Some coaches can handle it, some don't know what to do, or just choose to run up the score. One of the best coach I've seen handle these situations was Trebil at AHA. When they had their dominate teams and the game was turning into a blowout, h...

Apple Valley played a great game, they really wore out Blaine's top two lines. I was very impressed with Hudson Fasching, one of the most composed freshman i've seen at the state tournament. Yes Flyer shortening the bench to a certain degree does happen in squirts particularly at A level more so than the B and C levels but I have seen it at all designations. I Just figure it out, this a recycled tournament. What a great idea! They have 58 teams on the boys side and only 4 out of town teams. 3 from Wisconsin and 1 from Omaha. These guys are going green. Outstanding! They can even use the same program because it is all the same teams from the Warrior Cup...
