Does anyone know of any scrimmages that went on and the score? I know Forest Lake played Blaine.

I know that there is a big 16 team tournament in Eagan this weekend.

I don't know match ups, but I know it's a big pool play tournament including teams such as Duluth East, Wayzata, Eden Prairie, BSM, Prior Lake, and Jefferson.

Blaine 3 Forest Lake 2. I have been out of touch the past couple of years but this surprised me? Blaine typically a much stronger team then Forest Lake. Nice to see the balance.

Yeah it was a pretty even game but Blaine had more scoring chances and shots.

East beat EP 3-2 in the final. Very good, competitive game for a summer tournament.

Seems these two teams always have exciting games, whether it's the state championship or a summer scrimmage. Do you know if Parker was in net for East?

All good games and when the puck drops the kids play to win. On Sunday believe me everybody is playing to win (players and coaches).

Are some teams missing kids and playing some to get a look, absolutely.

This is a great quote though and typically from the ones that lost.
