I think Edina will take Centenial in state, unless Blaine beats them, which could very well happen. I do favor Centenial this year though, but i think the sophmore goalie will crack in the playoffs. Lots of pressure!

I think BLAINE will win this one by 3. Blaine's Defense are so sick. Brockway is going to the show after he gets a D-1 scolly, so is Tufte and Bjugstad. They have no weaknesses. I hope the Hounds don't have any super star forwards though, because Blaine's first line struggled against Edina's amazing...

After watching Blaine play this year they have very tough players. I think they have the best team of defense in the state, and I really saw no weakness to their team what so ever.

Nick Bjugstad is the BEST freshman, he has 16 points in 14 games. He's 6 ft. tall, and his dad played in the NHL for 11 years.

Derek Loisel from Coon Rapids should definatlely get drafted. He's got great size, plays for a TERRIBLE team so he doesn't get any help, and he's leading the North Suburban Conference in points (23). So I think Loisel, Barnes, Gardiner, and Ness should all get drafted in the first 3 rounds of 2008. ...

I don't think there should be shootouts or fighting in high school hockey. It's fun to see one team win every game played, but shootouts are not for high school. I think that one five minute overtime is already enough.

Nick Bjudstad has 12 points in nine games for Blaine. He's a 6' freshman alternating on Blaine's first and second lines. He is definatly in the top 10 freshman players in Minnesota, and his dad Scott played for the North Stars for 7 years.

I really believe that Centenial and Blaine are the best teams in the Conference, even though Anoka's first line is VERY good. Centenial and Blaine have players on their teams that have experienced A LOT of success growing up, and their records are not that important right now, because they will be b...
