Yeah but Blaines play is too hot right now. Theres no doubt that Blaine shouldnt overlook Elk River, however Blaine has improved since the start of their season.Ilovethe212 wrote:I dont see why not! Elk River out shot blaine 2-1 last time they played and blaine came away with a 3-1 win. I think it will be a good game and will be decided by the goalies.northhockey23 wrote:no

Blaine has two very scary line that will handle the ELKS with ease

Well then let's hope they play a much better game than they did against Maple Grove otherwise it will be a long night for the Elks!!!talkofthetown17 wrote:Sure Blaine has improved since the start of the season but Elk River I believe has played a way tougher schedule getting them ready for this one 3-2 elk river

having that said if the elks can play as "bad" as they did and tie a top fifteen team with two losses i think they should be alright if they play like they canShovel Shot wrote:Well then let's hope they play a much better game than they did against Maple Grove otherwise it will be a long night for the Elks!!!talkofthetown17 wrote:Sure Blaine has improved since the start of the season but Elk River I believe has played a way tougher schedule getting them ready for this one 3-2 elk river

I take blaine.....they will need to rough up the goalie like we did (DE), 5 shots 3 goals, otherwise I give ER the nod.....Ilovethe212 wrote:I dont see why not! The Elks played very good hockey tonight. Blaine is on a bit of a skid right now. 1-0 win against CP and now a loss to a slightly above average Elk River team. They need to snap out of it.
Just a side note- Blaine's Gavin Tufte and Jay Wagamon were both out with injuries tonight. Im not making any excuses for the Bengals, however those are two primary weapons for Blaine.

Sars always gets this team playing well for sections, always a tough team to face, like to grind it...
Elk River had half there team playing in Rogers. I'm not making any excuses for the Elks.minnesotaice wrote:5-3 Elk River was the final.

I was just wondering who was laughing now the elks absoulutley dominated your bengals. Blaine didnt even deserve to be on the ice with the elks the first two periods. And the boys from elr river "PLayed like the could and crushed themShovel Shot wrote:"Play like they can" Is that suppose to be funny!!!talkofthetown17 wrote:having that said if the elks can play as "bad" as they did and tie a top fifteen team with two losses i think they should be alright if they play like they canShovel Shot wrote: Well then let's hope they play a much better game than they did against Maple Grove otherwise it will be a long night for the Elks!!!![]()

Dont get me wrong hennum played great but a lot of whats this team does revolves around how good jaremko and pullar are they made it so hennum didnt have to do to much on a few of two of those goals but seriously hands down best player on the ice was the freshman Anders Franke really steped up huge when the elks needed the youngsterIlovethe212 wrote:ELk River dominated this game the first two periods but then struggled to hang on. #5 Hennum for Elk River was the best player on the ice all night long. Good win for the elks.
The elk dominated
Down low. Blaine's "D" either coasted to the puck or weren't strong enough to break out.
