Yes Eagles4Lakeville , Sturlaugson is one returner, as well as Schlink who was very good at JV, they will easlily be 2 of the better goalies in the Lake by far But you can go ahead and rip Sturlagson, and pump up Arnst at North, (Although Thomas was just as good early on) you gotta give props to you...

Numbers help and anyone who says otherwise is kidding themselves. But its what is done with those numbers that matters... Sure Ikola, Sat's, Osiecki....and on and on have cut talented kids, but they also helped to create a "hockey town/community" which helped to develop stronger coaches in...

Better team won....and I am a Burnsville fan and I hate to say anything positive for Edina, but they were the better team. This is not to say that Burnsville didn't play an amazing game...it was very even thorugh regulation...but Edina had more to bring. I don't know if Barnes was hurt or not, but h...

Posters should remember that it's the "State Hockey tourney" Not the top Eight tourney Section 1AA is set up to represent the South...you can argue with Lakeville being in that section, but you can't argue that section being represented having said that the best team from secttion 1AA dese...

It was a close game in shots only, North never really had any scoring opportunites. South played poorly, but I would agree that nerves probably played a big role, they seemed to be playing "not to lose" instead of playing to win. Bad news for North is that Nick Johnson (however class-less ...

Including game tying and game winner

I think their legacy will be the best team to never make it....the woulda coulda's

Hope I'm wrong, some real talent there...

Congrats to Jeff. they had a plan and it worked until the tank ran empty, but their young and that means good new for the lake because its good to see all of these teams getting back to a more competitive level. Don't count BVille out next year though, they did have a junior line that carried them t...

Not a bad idea Cabela... At the very least play out AA vs. A....who wouldn't go to that game!! AA would probably win more than their share, but then again isn't Roseau an A school?? I say MSHSL make it happen charge some nice $$ and raise money so we can keep the lovely ladies playing at the X where...

Don't they still seed the top 4 teams in order for state like last year?? If so North/South would not get a Rose or anoka etc...in the first round I know what your saying about North v. South rivalry, anything can happen, it's tough to beat a team 3 times etc... But honestly do you really think that...

I appologize to all South Boys and supporters for straying off topic and into the Lakeville coahing problems...just feel like most in the programs talk and talk about these issues around the rink for years and then don't take it any where because they're afraid of ruining things for their kids, unit...

You can if your in section 1AA...not any really anywhere else. As a newbie...I understand your opinion, but spend time watching the games and the coaching line decisions etc.. spend time with parents/players at the high school level or any of those who have bailed from the community. The high school...

Maybe we should make a 2 tier tourney, so smaller schools can compete....oops they already made that mistake. Seriously....I'll bet if you asked the Kennedy kids or Dodge county kids etc... For the love of hockey as we know it...South has to win this game. Because like Century last year...they are the ONLY team from 1AA that has a snowballs chance of giving anyone a game at state. Unlike many on this site, I support the idea of it being a STATE tourney and not simply a top 8 ranked tea...

This should be a high scoring game for sure. Burnsville can not contain Edina...not many can. Burnsville clearly out played Rosemount in this game top to bottom. Burnsville's 2nd and 3rd line put the puck in the net and dominated Rose. But none of this should take away from the quality of Rosemounts team or their season. The Barnes head butt incident: I won't justify the headbutt at all...it...
