LDC vs Delano
New Ulm vs Albert Lea
Hutch vs Mound Westonka
Windom vs Luverne
Prairie Centre vs Redwood
Morris Benson vs Marshall
Fairmont vs Worthington
Willmar vs River Lakes
Can LDC pull the upset over Delano? Should be the most intriguing game of the night. Good Luck 3A teams!

Litchfield dominated the early part of the game (and obviously the third), but really kind of tucked tail in the 2nd when a couple bounces didn't go their way. The refs put them on the pp for pretty much the last 8 minutes of the game and their top unit took advantage. New Ulm's youth/inexperience was very obvious late in the game, but even more obvious was the lack of goaltending for both teams.notTONIGHT wrote:Anybody have any insight about the game in Litch ?
I thought LDC was for real. This overtime come from behind win leaves me doubting that notion.
What happened?
As for litch being "for real", they have a very solid top line who move the puck much better than anything I can remember from litch. They also have possibly the best defenseman in the section, but not much depth after that. IMO if you want to be "for real" you need a solid goaltender and I don't see that in any team in this section besides possibly hutch if their sophomore can continue to play well and get better.

looking at the score sheet, shots for LDC 51 - NU 22 - it could have been one of those nights where nothing goes your way. 24 shots to 15 after two and they find themselves down 4 - 1.Kinda_Normal_Tendy wrote:Litchfield dominated the early part of the game (and obviously the third), but really kind of tucked tail in the 2nd when a couple bounces didn't go their way. hawkeyguy2 wrote:better watch out for Willmar. This Isaac Kobiena kid can beat you single handedly. Another 2 goals tonight against Sartell on top of his 4 hat tricks. I would put them in a 4 way tie vying for 2nd in the section lumping them in with Hutch, New Ulm & LDC
That Kids been flying. Marshall went to ot with New Ulm. Better add them in.

Shhhh. If you weren't there or didn't listen to it, shhhhhhhhh! Luverne plays a ton of the JV kids and they get railed for only putting up 14. If they skate 3 lines, they're crucified for running the score. Aww hell, I give up!Corn Cobb wrote:What's really criminal is Luverne's inability to score than 14 goals tonight.
