Those darn Average Andover Cake Eaters :!:

if ER played the Cake Eaters 10 more times, ER would win all 10.

Andover beat Elk River, right? 3-1 tonight I think.

Did you just say Elk River will beat Edina 10 of 10? I like the under on that.

sorry - I was talking about Andover - the north cake eaters 10 out of 10 times. As for Edina, ER would only win 9 out of 10.

I would never put the peace pipe down if I had to watch the North Branch Branches play all the time.

SCRIMMAGE
If there's a ref and a clock it's a game.

Quit being a dink. Scrimmage definition:

"A scrimmage, or exhibition game, is an informal sports contest or practice match engaged in for practice purposes which does not go on the regular season record"

Not a tournament or district game, so it can be called a scrimmage.

Forgive the insult to your delicate sensibilities. My point was that it was neither district game or tournament. Thanks HockeyGuy81 for the back-up. Don't you have to wonder sometimes how bored some people must be to spend the time correcting everyone. VERY funny.

HockeySLP what does this mean for your squad in the D3 race? Looks like the D3 site is a little behind in posting games. I saw these two team tie in the Edina tournament...good to see that SLP has joined the race in D3. Should make for an interesting District tournament when only two teams get to regions.

This was a great game, OMG scored an empty netter to make it a 2 goal game. What this means, is that OMG and Wayzata do not have a cake walk to regions this year. It is going to be a dog fight for the two District 3 spots.

The game really wasn't that close the Andover Goalie played well. Andover is a average D10 team. At least tonight they were.
BlackTape...Now that we have surpassed the halfway mark I think you are right. Andover is currently at the bottom in the standings. Even if you give them a few more HEP points it wouldn't matter. Probably lack of depth

It is lack of depth and also their top players and goalie are 1st year Bantams. They will be good next year if they all stay in Bantams....D10 this year is very clear cut. ER, Blaine and Centennial are by far the top 3 - with ER and Blaine going to regions. Anoka, Andover and Champlin are the underdogs and Rogers and Princeton are the long shots.

Very good Maroon & Gold game between EP and EGF this morning. EP was up 2-0 after 2 and then EGF came back with a flurry and tied it up 2-2 at the end of reg. 4 mins into OT EP scored the winning goal. Very good goaltending on both sides! Good clean, very hard checking game. I was impressed.
