Shots were 29 for Shattuck and 16 for Wayzata through 2 periods.

I have heard that for the time being Sheehy (sp?) is playing bantams. But when the HS season start up on November 15th he will be skating for Burnsville's HS squad.

Any truth to that?

Either way, bantams or HS, Burnsville comes ahead as he is a very nice hockey player.

Wow...impressive. (I think). I don't know much about Shattuck other than the 'mystique'. I guess they are good. Wayzata should be a top 5 team I'd think too.

Shattuck has been pounding the top end MAHA Bantam teams for the past couple years. Last year's squad was extremely impressive, and looks like they are loaded again this year.

What's the story? Kids from all over country & Canada are recruited correct? They are not affiliated with MAHA? Is this the team that has Lemieuxs kid or Crosbys cousin or something like that? I basically don't know anything about them other than they are a prep school/hockey factory.

They get kids from all over the world.

Not sure if you live in Minnesota and have kids in hockey and you have never heard of Shattuck???

Top end private prep school. Hockey is the #1 sport Basically they are a True AAA Team all year long. They are USA Hockey affliated..not sure about MAHA

But your are corrrect that they are a private school/Hockey factory known throughout North America for many, many years now..

Thx. I do live here & have kids in hockey (mite & Peewee) but never knew exactly how/what the situation was at Shattuck other than it's a hockey factory. Cheers!

Not really sure about pounding top end MAHA teams. Last year, yes was an exceptional year no doubt (closest game was a 3-1 Wayzata loss.)

Since it was Wayzata's first game this year and Shattuck's 10th I think I will hold off on any sort of judgement this year until MN teams have had a chance to play a little.

Most of the games in the past 5-6 years have been pretty even with the edge going to MN teams. Last year was an exception. That seems to be the case with SSM they are good but every once and a while they are great.

No doubt Shattuck will be good they always play well. I guess we all would if we could pick up that goalie we needed from another state or country.... but I digress......

Did they play the Bantam A team from Shattuck or the Teir one AAA bantam team?

OMG 4 - Blaine 2

I did not see the game but in speaking with a few folks, on both sides, OMG controlled most of the play against a Blaine squad that had a few kids missing.
