For games on Thursday, 9 December:

Joey Marooney picked up a goal for Holy Family Catholic in a 6-2 win over New Prague. Dylan Woolf and Shane Gersich each picked up an assist.

Phil Beaulieu added an assist the cause as Duluth East downed Cambridge 16-0.

Karson Kuhlman scored 2 goals and added 1 assist as Cloquet beat Princeton 11-1. This moves Kuhlman to the joint top of the frosh scoring chart.

Sam Hirschboeck tended goal for Sleepy Eye in their 7-4 win over St. Paul Highland Park. He saved 20 of 24 shots for the win.

Tristen Hazlett with first varsity point for Lakeville North (assist) in a loss.

One late reporting game from Thursday: Paul Kenney of St. Cloud Apollo picks up his first varsity goal in a 5-4 loss to River Lakes.

A few Friday games:
Chris Pohlkamp scored two goals for Brainerd in their 7-5 win over Monticello.

Avery Peterson (Grand Rapids) and Eric Gooden (Hibbing) picked up goals each in their respective team's wins.

Only about a dozen games got played on Saturday.

Avery Peterson picked up another goal as Grand Rapids downed Warroad 8-3.

Eric Gooden picked up an assist as Hibbing squeaked by Roseau 8-7 in OT. Nick Kasprowicz also got an assist as Kittson Central lost.

Freshmen scorers for games Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday this week:

Karson Kuhlman of Cloquet (I like the alliteration!) picked up 1g and 1a in his team's 10-3 win over Cambridge. This puts KK at the top of the scorers' chart.

Aaron Dietmeier (WSFLG Blizzard) picked up two goals as the Bliz knocked off Pine City 9-1.
Jake Green and Collin Buness notched a goal each as Princeton downed Mora 3-0.

Joey Marooney picked up a goal for Holy Family Catholic as they went down in defeat to Providence Academy 5-4.
Sam Johnson scored for Monticello in their 4-1 win over St. Michael-Albertville.

according to hockey hub, Aaron Dietmeier has 9pts. 5g and 4a. I watched this kid for one game this year. May be something special. Could be one of the most talented kid on a pretty good team that is 6-0.

Updating for games this past Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.

Aaron Dietmeier picked up 1g and 1a in a 3-0 win and then followed that with 1 goal against North Branch. The WSFLG Blizzard are now 7-0.

Will Hammer hammered in two goals for St. Cloud Cathedral in their 4-3 loss to Rochester Lourdes.

Jake Green (Princeton) picked up one goal as his team were swept in 3 games by North Dakota schools at a tournament at the Big Ralph in Grand Forks.

Avery Peterson picked up an assist in Grand Rapids' only loss of the season to date, against Eden Prairie.

Crookston's leading scorer, Brady Heppner, picked up 1g and 1a in a 5-3 win over Superior (WI).

Hunter Smith picked up a goal in Mound/West Tonka's 4-0 shutout of Faribault.

Austin Kilian assisted on two goals as New Prague downed Chaska 5-4.

Hibbing beat Two Harbors 11-1 with Eric Gooden picking up an assist for Hibbing and Lucas Kempffer, an 8th Grader, getting the sole goal for Two Harbors.

Tuesday night action:

Karson Kuhlman was the biggest mover with 4 assists in Cloquet's 11-1 destruction of Ashland (WI).

Preston Pung picks up a goal and an assist in Prairie Centre's 4-3 loss to Redwood Valley.

Connor Spetz also scored a goal and assisted on another as St. Michael's downed Pine City 9-1.

Picking up single goals were Avery Peterson (Grand Rapids), Austin Kilian (New Prague), and Will Hammer (St. Cloud Cathedral).

Doing a more thorough update also brought discovery that Sam Ecker (Prairie Centre) had silently amassed 7 assists without my knowledge. Shame on you, Sam!
