The nets were coming off because Myrhe would kick it off. plain and simple.DHMN wrote:The goal judge.. one of the top local refs, made a hand signal to the ref when asked, to tell him that the net was indeed off before. I don't remember if I saw his light come on or not .. but the referee was pointing at the net to signal the goal since he didn't see the net come off.dirtracing17 wrote:does anybody know why it was disallowed? saw the light on. or is game over suppose to mean have the thing locked?mr. plow wrote:dont ask me anything ryno you always have something to whine about GAME OVER
As for why the nets were coming off.. the DECC is pretty much ONLY a college hockey arena now and there are holes drilled for the rubber moorings that are used at the college level, and not the metal spikes that really just sit on top of of the ice with the little stud on the bottom of it. The refs tried to pack snow in and make a better spot for it to sit on but that obviously didn't work out as well as they wanted.
How would it have been great? Virginia would have won by alot.mnhockeynemn wrote:Yes, that would be a great game, I'm not sure if they've ever even played each other in the finals?mr. plow wrote:thanks mnhockeynemn i think we agree we want the best 7a team and program at the x i thought it would be falls and virginia in the final
no, what happened?mr. plow wrote:anyone see what happened to suihkonen's hand
All in all, I would say Hibbing had a great year for how they were not expected to make it out of the semis this year. I heard in bantams this virginia team was beating them then so was kinda expecting it would be hard to beat them now.
As for the Ryan Johnson penalty, I didnt have the best seat, but the guys on channel 10/13 said it was Peratelo how checked from behind. Games over. I expect Virginia to have a good team next year but after that who knows?????

Hey momma's boy find once on this topic were I've chirped about the refs or fans signs. Not once. So go drive your plow momma's boy. You know nothing about hockey, absolutely nothing so maybe you should shut up!!! Everyone on here says your an embarrassment to Virginia, which I agree with 100%. I'd be ashamed of how ignorant and idiotic your comments are. You never give analysis of the games you just have stupid one liners. Why? Because you know jack shat about hockey. Your a 60 yr old virgin arguing on a hockey forum with a bunch of high schoolers. Maybe you need to grow up Mr. Plow, Mr. Momma's boy, Mr. 60 yr old virgin. Get lost, no one will miss when your off this forum. We want to talk about hockey, yeah the bickering gets old but I wasn't bickering. Your just an ignorant a-hole who instigates. Get lost buddy!!mr. plow wrote:dirtracing ryno gopher101 no one wants to hear your constant chirping the refs the net the fans the signs .GROW UP or shut up

A Virginia player slashed him right across his wrist. Someone said he did not have any feeling in his index and middle finger all night and had feeling coming back this morning. He should be fine, no broken bones or anything just probably a big bruise.ryno44 wrote:no, what happened?mr. plow wrote:anyone see what happened to suihkonen's hand

Totally agree. After going to the "X" for the 5th year in a row as a spectator of course, because our coach can't pull it off during clinch time. Cheering order as follows.
1. 7A Teams
2. Northern Teams
3. Out State Teams, other than Northern
4. Cities Teams
5. Never ever pull for a private school

If a goalie can get away with it all night he will. It is up to the Refs to give him fair warning then call the delay of game minor.

DeCenzo's been as consistent as it gets when it comes to coaching. When Hermantown was in the section I had Bruce Plante as the #1 coach but now that he's gone its got to be between Hendrickson and DeCenzo. And your right players win the games but coaches need to give you all the tools and systems to prepare you to win games. Coaches play a huge role and their job is get you to your highest potential as a team.
