7A Final Hibbing vs. Virginia

Hibbnng's line with #9 gave them many quality scoring opps. #7 & #24 on D are good O players and the whole Hibbing team played very good D.

The Falls did not play bad, just could not create any good scoring ops.

At least last night, the better team won.

If Hibbing plays the same sound physical D against Virginia they have a very good chance of playing in St Paul

4-3 Hibbing. Both teams are pretty evenly matched.

I think this is the year for Hibbing. All 3 lines had great scoring chances in the game vs. I falls. 4th line had a couple chances to at the end. It was nice to see DeCenzo put 4th line out on the 5 on 3 when he could have put Johnson out and try to the hat trick.

I'm taking Hibbing 4-1.

It will be on channel 10/13 out of Duluth. Looking foward to another chapter in the Hibbing/Virginia rivalry. This will be very close and like most championship games it will come down to defense and goaltending. Virginia has very strong d and a decent goalie and Hibbing defense and goaltending has really come along way. I want Hibbing to win as they have a massive drought. 9th straight appearence at the DECC but should be a very,very close game.

This is the jackets year to go to state. Decenzo, both Johnsons, and Bugliosi have really stepped up this year. They are pretty evenly matched with Virginia and anything could happen. The jackets are sick of losing at state every year and this year they will finally do something about it.

i hope hibbing wins it and other teams will want to play them during the regular season. after virginia made it last year a few schools were added their schedule. yes you can only play so many games but hibbing has proven they can upset teams

im talking about how they took marshall to overime in finals a couple years ago who was ranked i believe top 3 in the state. any more concerns to my statements? i think we all know virginia improved their schedule this

I'm going to take Hibbing here. With all the trips to the DECC year after year, it's time for Hibbing make take the trip to the X. Falls fans, don't just hate Hibbing because you lost, their players showed good sportsmanship.

According to you, Hibbing was better than the Falls anyways so how would that count for an upset? and now your talking about games that happened 3 years ago? WHAT?? Are you kidding? If you really have to look that hard and that long to find a game with a "ranked" team, you need some help.

Virginia has better players and they also have one thing Hibbing doesn't have. Did I say one I mean Three. They are Respect for others, Good sportsmenship and a lot of class. They look out for one another All Hibbing looks for is to make themselves look bad. Way to go that's all Hibbing is good for.

Hibbing's fans just like the players very crooked and always trying to get the other teams players into trouble. Here's an idea. Hibbing can put their stickes where their mouth is because they are going to choke anyway.

Virginia has better players by far, they have a great coach, and they also have their fans. By far better than Hibbing anyday. Hibbing thinks they can cheat their way through a game. Well that is not going to stand anymore. Hibbing is going to get pushed around on the ice and their players are gonna go home and cry to their mommy's cuz that's what they are. Momma's Boys. They cry because they get pushed around on the ice, well they need to go up which we don't see happening in the future or at all. They lack class, actually they don't have any class at all.

Please tell me how they didn't show good sportsmenship? I think Hibbing looks pretty good, what other team makes it 8 years to the section finals. Aren't falls 0-8 in the semis?

Well you are from Hibbing. You can have a great team and great fans, unfortunately you don't have either. The team is decent(when they aren't playing dirty), the fans show the worst sportsmanship I've ever seen. It's no wonder no other teams like or root for Hibbing come playoffs, its not that they are jealous because you claim to be so good, its because hibbing is a team that makes it impossible in every possible way to cheer for by the way their actions are. It looks like since your team lost, you are trying to disrespect Hibbing in everyway, shape or form. I only saw the students being disrespectful, but thats students for you. From what I have heard, players and fans from Marshall will be cheering loud and proud for the Hibbing Bluejackets.
