St Thomas Academy (18-4-1) @ South St Paul (16-4-3) 2-17-09
The first meeting at the St Thomas Ice Arena ended in a 1-1 tie.
A Cadet victory seals their win on the conference and the #1 seed in the section.
A Packer victory will give SSP a shot at tying St Thomas for the conference title (pending a Maht victory over STA in their last game of the season) and the #1 seed in section 4A.
A tie would give St Thomas the conference title and 2nd place most likely to South St Paul. What it would do for the section rankings one could only guess.

5-0 Cadets when I left with a minutes to go in the third period and I think SSP was on a power play. I was only able to watch the third period. STA scored 3 goals in the third period, AJ Reid scoring 2 of them I believe. STA dominated the third except for the first 2 minutes when SSP was on a power play, other than that they were barely in the Cadets zone.

It was a really fun game to watch! STA was flying last night seemed as though they had something to prove (there gonna get 4A) SSP did do a pretty good job shuting down Isacson though but SSP had an awful offensive game from what i have seen from them in past games. Wilcox played a good game..nothing much the kid could do.

Isent he #12? My buddy i went with said he was #12 and i didn't grab a roster, my mistake..no wonder i didn't hear his name in the starting line ups i was a little confused during the national anthem why he wouldn't be starting. Well i just looked on the star tribune website and #12 is definantly not isacson ha ha. I'm getting old
