Not the fanciest game ever, but a very methodical win by the Greyhounds. Unlike yesterday, they dictated the flow of the game throughout and took 58 shots on goal to Brainerd's 12. Quite a few penalties on both sides. It was a good way to bounce back from an ugly loss and looks to be a good sign for the Hounds. The fourth line logged significant ice time and looked pretty good, which is encouraging.
Goals from Nelson, Paulseth, Arbour, and Tardy for East; Ebinger for Brainerd.
I see Josh Archibald of Brainerd garnered five penalties during this game. Chip off the ole block, eh?

The kids on this board wont get the Archibald remark..."Leave Skeeter alone"
Justice prevails as the ref (1) did about everything he could in the last few minutes to put Century on top.
Welch got tossed from the Hastings game, I don't know what he said but it was a quick thumb. The Hastings goalie got run over then knocked around a bit as he tried to get back in the net and all that was called was a man in the crease infraction. Welch complained (rightly) and was tossed in about 5 seconds.
With 4 seconds left of the Apple Valley/Mayo game the refs tossed out #4 from Apple Valley, he was in a scrap with #19 from Mayo and he was given the thumb and ent to the lockerroom, the Mayo kid wasn't. I hope it was just for a misconduct and not an ejection but given the signal......

Tied 1-1 and then it broke loose after Roseville had one taken away for the net being off.
I'm sure someone posted this already. Apple valley over Mayo 5-3. Mayo's third goal was with a 6-4 with 30 seconds left. Mayo went up 2-0 on 2 PP goals, then AV scored the next 5. Nanne was in net for Valley. #4 Robson from Apple Valley I heard will be playing tomorrow I heard so I believe it was just a misconduct that's what it said on pointstreak gamesheet as well it said the Mayo player was given the same even though he never left the ice he stayed in the box, interesting...

According to pointstreak it was a 10 min misconduct
Did you attend the Eastview game? My buddy told me the shots were 44-17 in favor of Roseville and O'Shea was crazy good. I also heard Smith had 4. Is this correct?

I was not but was getting updates and that is correct from what I heard as well. I heard 19 shots for Eastview though.

Your kidding me right? It was the complete opposite! South got a goal after being 5 feet offsides, and a penalty shot? ive never seen someone get a penalty shot for falling backwards after losing the puck? Handing century the game? Good joke

Good game by 2 evenly matched teams. Each teams had there chances. Both goalies played well. Game ended with a fluke goal where the puck was thrown at the net and went of a MV defenders stick right to FL player who only had to tap it in. Fun game to watch.
