Schwan Cup games
HM 1, Moorhead 0, very early
Kohls from Zepeda at 20 seconds in the 1st.

Kohls again at 2:44 from Widing. It's 2-0.
Kohls again at 4:21 from Zepeda & Kelly on the power play. It's 3-0. What kind of hat trick do you call 3 goals in 4 minutes?

Duluth East 4
Brainerd 1
Final
Not the fanciest game ever, but a very methodical win by the Greyhounds. Unlike yesterday, they dictated the flow of the game throughout and took 58 shots on goal to Brainerd's 12. Quite a few penalties on both sides. It was a good way to bounce back from an ugly loss and looks to be a good sign for the Hounds. The fourth line logged significant ice time and looked pretty good, which is encouraging.
Goals from Nelson, Paulseth, Arbour, and Tardy for East; Ebinger for Brainerd.
