Any younger goalies taking the starting varsity job?
Just wondering who might be some younger kids that will have to put the shoes on and be the starting goalie.

Look for Tony Civ out of Mounds View to take the starting gig for that program.Vinceburg wrote:Just wondering who might be some younger kids that will have to put the shoes on and be the starting goalie.

Chisago
Chisago graduated Tom Fitzer, their senior goalie, and now it looks like a sophmore, Tyler Krumm, will have to step into the net. This entire team is young, look for Krumm to get shelled.

with the two year starter Nate hardy out hermantown has a slight dilema. Three sophomores have moved up all talented, junior goalie tessier who's improved and right there, and of course senior Citro who is capable but lacking in size. I honestly think its anybody's shot for the starting job it just depends on who steps up.
believe in the hockey gods...

[/quote] The kids last name is Civ...... is it pronouced like the ominous word everyone chants after the 5th or 6th goal? Or is that a nickname... Cause thats gotta kinda suck for him.

This thread is asking what younger goalies to look out for, Civello will be a senior this year, so we are talking about him...why? On top of that he is most definately NOT a standout, on a team with no skill, so I'm guessing his GAA won't be very good his final year of hockey.mnhockey2431 wrote:ook out this year for Tony Civello of MV and sophomore goaltender Lance Bortot of Irondale

wow, he played in elite II so he cant be terrible and also played for a junior team over the summer buddy. Also about the stats, last year for a team that only won 8 games him and the other goalie had very respectable stats. I look for MV to be a contender and and someone who can shake things up a bit in the SEC!sicknasty7722 wrote:This thread is asking what younger goalies to look out for, Civello will be a senior this year, so we are talking about him...why?
