I can't believe Campion was smart enough to find St. Cloud on the map. Someone else must have drove.

2-2 at the end of OT goepfert with 46 saves so far. OT was pretty even but give the slight edge to the huskies.

No. Now, had I said Jan Brady State fans couldn't find the Arena without a tour guide, that would be offensive. Image

at the end of 2nd OT 2-2 with the edge to UMD in that period. Atleast a couple of posts for UMD, and a few big/very lucky saves for goepfert. Johnson made a huge save on a 2-1 early. I believe goepfert now has 55 saves or so and johnson about 50 saves.

This game has just become an instant classic, I'm still trying to figure out how I am able to watch this game, it is on a public access type channel out of st clould, and I am in Elk River, oh well great game so far!!!
All I can say is WOW!!!!!

Josh just robbed Fletcher. Eleven minutes left in the 3rd OT.

Unbelievable.

andreas nodl at 12 mins of 3rd ot. Cant say enough about Goepfert, and Johnson. I haven't heard the shots yet but each goalie had atleast 60 SAVES!!!!

Cliche, but it really sucks that someone had to lose. We'll see if the huskies can recover in time for fridays game.

and too bad for UMD. Better luck next year. I think UMD will have an excellent shot next year at making the NCAA tourney. Lets hope the dogs pull in some nice recruits to go with that deep roster...

WOW what a game. Everbody from UMD and St. Cloud gave it there all last night. I give credit to Senior goalie Josh Johnson for leading them to a great last half of the year. He is a very good goaltender, he never gave up even when he wasn't getting played, I hope he gets to keep playing after his college career. Does anyone know if he will play anywhere after College?

Much better goaltending? What are you talking about?

Johnson signed a pro contract with the Florida Everblades in the ECHL. He's actually down there playing for them right now until their usual goalie get's back.. I guess he got called up for the week. Sounds like Johnson may join the permanent roster next season, good luck to him!

Ya. He is going to play there for 6 days, then he has to come back to finish college. I'm really happy for him! Keep it up Josh!

Over the course of the season, SCSU had much better goaltending than UMD. Johnson played very well during the last weeks of the season but it was such a small sample that I am not going to say he is anywhere near the caliber of Goepfert.

The last few weaks basically was most of the time Josh played all season, and whenever he played he was great. He is up there with Bobby I think.
