Im going to take
Burnsville-3
Blaine-2
I find it hard to believe that that first line can be better than Blaine's (they weren't the first meeting, Blaine 7-3). Also, I know Blaine has the better second line with Schaber, Johnson and Bailey. I will stick with my Bengals in this one.
I'M PICKING Blaine over Burn. 5-4...Beaudette and Lynch (& #6) have been playing really well (especially Lynch) and the Johnson, Schaber & #33 line (which combined for just 1 goal in three Section games) has to come back to life...Carson & Hickey are strong D and Hollerud is playing well...Burnsville had a great win against AHA...my hat is off to them...but Blaine has more experience in these kind of games.

Including their 7-3 loss to the Bengals during which Lynch scored more goals (4) than the entire Blaze squad.

I'm picking Blaine to win this one, but I wouldn't be surprised if Burnsville won. They are probably the hottest team in the state. It wasn't a fluke that they beat AHA. Janne Kivihalme has done a fabulous job of turning this team around, winning 13 of there last 14. I think they might be just happy to be there, and have a let down after the AHA win.

i know a lot of people think blaine will win becasue they beat burnsville 7-3 earlier this year in the scwans cup. there are a few things about that game that most people dont know. first the game was played while the blaze were playing the worst hockey of the season, and the blaze did not play their hot goalie randy johnson who everyone is talking about and their hot line which also is getting alot of attention was not playing together (perisic was playing second line). ever scince that line has been together they have been unstoppable

I think burnsville has a very good first line but thats about all they got and besides that i think blaines first line is even better to go along with a very good second line...something burnsville does not have...the way it looks to me i dont think burnsville will be able to keep up with the bengals

Blaine 5 Burnsville 2

The Bengals will be in control of this game from start to finish. However, Burnsville will hang around and hang around and make things interesting until Blaine seals the deal midway through the 3rd.

B'ville

B'ville's 2nd and 3rd line have had trouble scoring, theres alot of players there that have had some success in the past, and are capable of being big contributors, they have been matched up against opposing teams 1st line's and shut them down, anyone of these kids are capable of stepping up and having big games,if that happens no one will stop them.
GO BLAZE!!!!!!!!!!!! 6-3
Peresic was about the last choice for this line the coaches tried a number of kids at his spot,he delivered, the other lines will jell thursday night.watch some of these kids Z. KING,GUS,Al Jhonson they will deliver!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The only advantage burnsville has over blaine is there goalie. Blaines first line is just as good as burnsvilles. While burnsvilles first line may score more goals, they are non existant in the d-zone where it counts. Blaines first line plays both ways. On top of that, blaine does have the experience at the excel, which includes 5 out of the top 6 forwards and 2 defenseman. I have seen both of these teams play and as long as Randy Johnson doesn't stand on his head I think it will be:

I believe BURNSVILLE will take this one with ease. Blaine is over-rated and is the team who has the best chance of going two and out.

Haven't heard that one yet this year. Burnsville will take this with ease? Seriously?

Thats the kinda post that either makes you look like a genius or a moron. In this case, probably a moron.

Amen, brother! I posted the following before the Blaine/Anoka game:

I was right... I'll be taking Blaine tonight as well.

Blaine has got some good looking sock stipage going on, they perfectly accent their jerseys. Burnsville's; however, look like black sweatpants or (gasp) cooperalls! [-X
