It's a disgrace that Carpenter (and Burke) were not named to the 2008 Ms. Goalie top finalist! We have all heard on this thread all of their accomplishements...save percentage & goals against...won't reiterate on that point! Not only is Carpenter a very accomplished well rounded person-she had t...

Boblee...your right-sorry for the mistake-guess I was a bit tired from the drive up north . Wireless is a great option for reporting scores-just need to get the score right! Yes, Centennial's goalie sure got a great workout!

I do agree with Hockeygod-Irondale has an aggressive team who gave Centennial a tough time at the Section playoffs last season. Blaine also came on at the end of the season. In the end, however, Centennial won the conference. Centennial graduates 8 (I think) Seniors-one including their goalie. The J...

Thank you Woody22 for understanding the fact that I was not trying to "eliminate" the northern associations. However, it is a fact that the numbers do play a huge roll in the outcome of a teams success. Maybe the question should of been worded (or qualified) differently so to give credit t...

Let me reiterate (for the 3rd time) what the questions is. "year after year what associations produces the best teams at all levels." It is not, "based on community size and number of kids trying out for hockey, what associations can compete with each other at all levels." Yes, t...

Again, Roseau has a great hockey tradition however they did not have a team at every level-boys and girls-qualify for state this year. I agree-for a smaller association-they are a power house of the north. I do have to comment on the "30 kids per level". It really is not that amazing. When...

The question was, "year after year what associations produces the best teams at all levels." Ya, so clearly there is not just one association that produces the best teams at all levels. If you take a look at Wayzata, Edina, EP, WB, Centennial just to name a few-you will see in the Let's Pl...

Centennial Black should be in the top 20 if Maple Grove, Eagan and Hermantown were "nominated"-Centennial Black beat all three. The start of their season was pretty tough however I think they proved by the end of the season that they could play with the top teams.

If I had to bet my paycheck-I would put it on Centennial. This section does not look to be all that tough however I did hear that Centennial is going to add tougher teams to their regular season next season.
