D pairings? Most teams seperate their best D with one weaker player. Also are we talking offensive D or Defensive D. I like #12 KP from Hill a great 2 way player #7 is more offensive but can play solid D (their goalie also helps them alot). Cretin has 2 very good Offensive D and the 9th grader is a ...

I saw Roseville/White Bear and YES Roseville is that good. They have one of the top lines in the state and go three lines with speed and aggressiveness. I've seen Cretin, Grand Rapids, Hibbing, Hill, Stillwater, Blaine, AHA. and I feel Roseville is tops. Cody is a great player and others can shoot! ...

The biggest mistake girls hockey made was going U14 instead of U15. I would have liked to see U8, U10, U13, U16, U19 age levels and give more older girls just starting out a chance to play instead of taking a spot on HS team (deserving 8th graders can't try out for most HS teams because of it). It's...

I don't have a problem with someone transferring to other schools. However, it shouldn't be just about sports. If the school is equal to or better academically, then what the heck?! A lot of these decisions are made either because a player's home team is not competitive, they don't like the coaching...

I believe that the majority of associations don't work that way and if by rare chance you do live in one you should just don't take it personal and leave. I've been associated with summer hockey and every spring and fall local teams were formed and my daughter wasn't asked to play because of a certa...

I've seen Blaine, GRG Lightning, Bemidji, WBL, Roseville, Stillwater, MV, CDH. and I like them in this order. #1 Roseville who has one of the top lines in the state and others who never stop playing hard (Watch 9th grader Brausen not flashy but I would take her over many very hockey smart. #2 GRG to...

Iron range scrimmage fest
I thought WBL looked good. They played 4 lines and were moving girls aroung between JV and Varsity. They went 4-2 and remember it's called a srimmage fest for a reason. I thought all teams were very even in talent other than young Buffalo and Chisago. I also felt the lightning played the best as a t...
