Maple Grove vs. Osseo Sat. Jan 16th Vraa Arena in Osseo

It's Packer/Vikings. Who wins this classic match-up on Osseo's home ice? The bird's offense has been scoring a lot of goals, but the Crimson is coming off a big win over Centennial and an exciting come back from a 2 goal deficit for a 4-4 tie vs. a very good Blaine team with their future NHL'r.

Also... don't be surprised if you start seeing bantams migrating from MG to Osseo HS. Two very different hockey cultures that are attracting very different players / families. Numbers will go up beginning with the '10-'11 season. About the only time this happens is a 'B' player, where this is the o...

Jake would pick his team properly regardless of running clinics or not. Remember no one wants to lose so you wouldn't intentionally take the wrong player...would you? If you have bubble kids and the coach sees them for say 10 hours of tryouts and others for 10 hours of clinics and 10 hours of tryou...

There was nothing on their August agenda related to this. I assume their executive committee circumvented the full board and just decided themselves.

Look, this president is a professional lobbyist in St. Paul. His entire job is spin and getting people to do what he wants. He succeeded here on both counts.

I heard they targeted non-parent coaches like Fleming and wanted to keep them out of the pre-tryout camps. Considering most of the kids that do these camps are B2 and B1 players, I think it's great a Bantam A coach would even want to take the time. It would surely have to be frustrating for the coac...

First, let's be clear. Blaine's powerplay is amazing. 5 of their 6 goals were scored on the PP, 3 of which were on the same 5 minute major. They had only one even strength goal and even that was 4 on 4. I would have expected at least 1-2 full strength goals from the 'state champ'.
