Jake Williams and Al McLean are 2 senior D for Duluth East who have played very consistently and are playing there best hockey of the season right now. Along with Joe Arbour all 3 deserve to be in the Great 8 for section 7.

AA vs A

Old barn7, I agree. If they had the AA and A tourney on seperate weekends I doubt they would have more than 4,000 people for any A session while the AA tourney would remain a premier event. Scouts and coaches would only go to the A tourney for lack of something better to do. The A tourney is only as...

Hope the rumors turn up to be unfounded. Max is a great kid and a good player. Next years team looks very promising, losing Max would be tough.

When I watched East play they didnt seem to have any D pairs matched up against certain lines. I saw one of two differnt sets of D start most games and they almost always used 3 sets of D except for power plays and on occasion the last minute of a period or a game. They seemed to be interested in ma...

Everyone is really jumping the gun. Anyone that doesnt bring their A game to a playoff game has a very good chance of being beat. I dont care who you play. There are not alot of teams that get more out of their teams then some of the 7AA teams, for sure at the section level. I have never seen Cloque...

I didnt know that you had broken away from the fan alliance! You better check and see if they will take you back. They dont like turncoats.
On another subject, I agree leave the personal items off the board.

Lee got it right, they have a ton of respect but they live to play each other and mark it on the schedule as the #1 team they dont want to lose to!

Come on everybody. The East Cloquet game should be a great game that pits one of the best rivalries in the State. These kids have a ton of respect for each other and anyone that doesnt have respect for these programs and communities are really stupid. This clash also features two of the top ten team...

I saw Donahue play yesterday, he looked athletic, competitive, and had a nice air of confidence. Ellingson very strong positional player tremendous team support around him. but the kid I like the best is the "Beast from the East" Ben Leis . The kid is capable of stealing a game from ANYONE...

Thought this was a post about the best Jr player in section 8.

I like CODY PECK from Fergus Falls. The other guys are good as well but lets talk about more good players instead of limiting it to a couple. Cody has been contributing a lot offensively and he is also an excellant defensive player too!

I think everyonr should let it go. Morngville has coached Moorhaed for years, if he doesnt know his team and how to take care of problems like this IF IT IS A PROBLEM they have had the wrong guy coaching the whole time. Nobody knows for sure what the situation is as we dont sit on his bench or in th...

Warroad is a great hockey town. Every experience I have had against them from High School to Pee Wees has been good. Warroad plays old time hockey in your face. If you cant take the challenge dont blame them, look in the mirror.

Interesting point ref. I agree we dont NEED the cheerleaders on the ice, but remember the game is for the participants, mainly the kids and having the cherleaders on the ice for one cheer wont kill you..

Re: Warm-up approved

If for no better reason I think the warmup would be great for the JV player who sat on the bench for the first two periods of the varsity game and will get a few shifts in the third. Nice to be able to touch the ice during the first and second period intermissions. Instead of trying to play hard a f...
