Top Coach
With all due respect to Jdog, how about the Owattona coach as coach of the year. His team had 10 players or less and still managed to get to the state tournament. They just kept finding ways to win.
Falkster

Re: research
I can tell you one thing, next year joshdog will have his hands full. If you look at the A-peewee team from two years ago, it wasnt good. I dont think that even won 10 games. Im sure Joshdog is up to the challenge and will right the ship.
Falkster

Re: Coach of the Year
Gullickson of New Prague was the head coach of the year and Tom Falk was the assistant coach of the year in section 1A. Pretty deserving picks I would say.
Falkster

District 4
For all of the bashing that people do on this board against district 4, I would say that they had a pretty good showing at regions for both Bantam A and Peewee A.Any thoughts?
Falkster
Edited by: falkster09 ...

Re: REGION TOURNAMENT PICK 'EM CONTEST!
For the silver region in Bantam A:
Not many people picking Mankato or AL. I know AL has a tough game against Buffalo on Friday, but they have been known to pull one out of their shorts. A lot of people in the middle of the season had Mankato as the number 1 by a long shot. Just some things to thi...

Re: RE:district 4 bantam a
im gonna have to disagree, Buffalo has a real tough game on friday night that, even if they do win it, they will have been pushed to their limit against a solid AL team, and then having to bounce right back and play two more tough games, it will sure take some character.
Falkster

New Ulm is in 2 OTs with New Prague right now. They are getting outplayed the whole time and outshot just like this morning. The key is that they are finding a way to compete.
Falkster

Re: Playoff Overtimes
There is no way that the game should go to the higher seed. If the lower seed does get it to three OTs, that means that they have played harder and better.
Falkster
