Mankato Purple:8 Waseca:0 New Ulm:8 Albert Lea:4 New Prague:9 Marshall:1 Semifinals are: (1 East)Faribault vs. (3 East)New Prague 4:00 p.m. (1 West)New Ulm vs. (2 East)Mankato Purple 8:00 p.m. I'm going to look for Faribault and Mankato Purple playing for the #1 seed in regions, but New Prague could be a big spoiler for Faribault. Mankato Purple hould beat New ulm from what I have gathered, but New Ulm is 16-1 vs. D4 opponents(pretty sure that is correct) this season(only loss was a 2-0 descion at the hands of Faribault)

todays games for bantams... Redwood Falls:7 Faribault:4 Albert Lea:2 New Ulm:3 ^^ i knew new ulm would upset somebody but that still surprises me^^ Mankato:1 Owatonna:2 new prague played new ulm at 4 but i dont know of the score yet.

New Ulm is in 2 OTs with New Prague right now. They are getting outplayed the whole time and outshot just like this morning. The key is that they are finding a way to compete. Falkster

im telling ya new ulm doesnt have much of a scoring threat but there D and goalie get it done. if you can score early and often you got this team in trouble.

Some Scores From Albert Lea: New Prague Upsets Faribault 4-3, And Mankato Purple Handles New Ulm 6-3. Mankato Purple and New Prague are going to regions, with AL, Fairmont, New Ulm, and Faribault battling it outfor the #3 and #4 seeds at regions. Should be interesting tomorrow. Sounds like the NP/FARI. game was a doozy! Rumor has it that NP was down 3-1 at one point in that game. NP/KATO battle for seeds #1 and #2 at regions. Good Luck to all teams the rest of the way!

AL win's 6-2, get's the 4 seed in regional's. Great weekend of hockey. NU goaltender was absolutely awesome this weekend. My biased prediction's were wrong. Here is my take on the 4 seed's. #1 NP Best team #2 Owatonna Best team with 9 skater's #3 Kato Best team when they are on one of their upswing's #4 AL Best team that can't score

Joshdog good to hear Albert Lea beat New Ulm. I didn't want New Ulm in districts. Cz there goalie could get hot at anytime and i dont know if you saw the mankato new ulm game but i thought near the end of the second it was getting a little out of hand. many penalties with a new ulm player getting kicked out. Also i did not want to hear that "ziggy zaggy" chant one more time.<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/tongue.gif ALT=":b">

The AL players also did the goalie a favor by shooting into him most of the time. New Ulm got some unbelieveable bounce too. I didnt think that the second game was much different than the first game except for the fact that the AL boys found a way to get the puck past the goaltender. Falkster

I was in AL's offensive zone for the 2nd & 3rd, AL hit 3 posts(maybe 4) in the 3rd period alone. The NU goalie played well, no question. What happened in the second when the NU player got a 10 and then he left the ice in the 3rd? He got a 10 minute misconduct, after tussle in front of his net. Sure wasn't 10 minutes worth of tussling, especially considering that the AL guy only got a 2 minute. Then they skated even???(I think). Was kind of a Twilight Zone game...the winning, or maybe tying, goal came off an AL guy knocking down a puck being thrown into the zone, caught the AL goalie going the other direction and bounced in.
