They definitely did not play their best, but that is hockey. Little Falls played a heck of a lot better and deserved the win. No excuses. Would love to see Little Falls keep it going. Little Falls has a way of making teams do this or look like this... defense you nailed it: VMIB played poorly becau...

Wouldn't they be better served telling the teachers (at least high and middle) they would like them at the game since that's where the kids are? Keep some staff back to manage the empty building and send the rest. I know if there is a field trip there has to be a certain staff-student ratio......You...

Best district support of team

Just curious to know to what extent districts support their teams at tourneys. Little Falls is only allowing a very limited percentage of their teachers (14 out of over 150) to go support the Flyers at tomorrow's game. Even though the high school in particular has been at half capacity since Wednesd...

Unbelievable that anybody could think that the 400 points came from lucky bounces.... WOW! How many high schoolers have hit the ice against good, bad or indifferent opponents in the history of hs hockey? How many have had a chance at playing for 4 years and put up big numbers while doing it? You can...

Little Falls wins this one....but they'll have to do it with few teachers in the crowd. I am not sure how other districts handle this but there will be few LFCS staff in attendance as the administration won't even let them take a sick day to go to the game. There are 7 fan buses (14 chaperones) goin...

The better team lost. Just a simple case of kids being kids. Any team can beat any other on any given night, especially with a hot goalie. Upset's have been happening since the beginning of time. 7 out of 10 times STA wins. The Z's don't have near the talent that STA does. The goalie played well fo...

until someone beats little falls, little falls is the best team in class A k honestly little falls plays absolutely noone. they may be in for a rude awakening once they get down to st. paul Look at the Flyers' schedule: they beat Cathedral (5th on this ranking); Virginia (6th on this ranking) and A...

hshockeywatcher, my "question" was more of a statement: i am curious how much any of you who bring up the Flyers' GAA know about the scores... they are allowing 0 to 3 goals in 14 of their games this year with 7 shutouts and 2-one goal allowed games in those 14. You are choosing to ignore ...

beaverhawk, compare how Holy Angels does against their conference opponents to how Little Falls does. No one is saying they aren't winning, just how they are. If they were doing what Holy Angels is, I would have no problem with them at number 1. Do you look at the numbers before spouting off? the f...

i am curious how much any of you who bring up the Flyers' GAA know about the scores... they are allowing 0 to 3 goals in 14 of their games this year with 7 shutouts and 2-one goal allowed games in those 14. Since the opposition can never have a negative score this "poor GAA average" argume...
