La crescent will be weak, losing their only good goaltender, two great foreign exchange students...and the entire first line.

I was there, EP's goalie is good, but cretin did have the best goalie in the tournament. He made some spectacular saves and kept his team in the games for the most part. EP's goalie was just not as valuable to the team as cretins was.

i watched both teams today, and in my opinion, i think the cdh outcome should have been different, however they are a good team...i just felt moorehead played outstanding and had alot of steam coming in...im going Moorehead 3

hey big eater, our basketball team is on the verge to going to state and our crowd is pretty rowdy...most high school sports attract the cocky fans come state time, its just part of the game.

ill be at bemidji state next year and watchin the highschool team so that'd be pretty cool if they moved up.

ya people complain about STA because the recruit to be extremely competive, unlike public schools...plus they play big AA teams during the regular season and prove dominance by winning....there for- they should opt up.

i would lk lourdes to win against breck and rep 1a good, but i just dont lk private schools.

who cares if my grammer is wrong? this is an online forum....AND they have close to 600 ALL BOYS....i go to an A school with about that much kids all toghether...boys and girls..

oh no, lourdes will def. bring a large crowd, and it is somewhat of an advantage....but its not going to control the outcome. There will be plenty of red wing fans and there will also be neutral fans their like myself...just enjoying what i hope to be a great hockey game.

i think the lourdes goalie is just a little to inexperienced for the state tourney. With that said, give me Redwing 5 Lourdes 2

leadership doesnt come with points, it comes from the heart. Its a natural abiliity. Your giving all of these examples of leaders with points, which is great, but look at one of the best captains known to hockey, Mike Eurizone for the 1980 USA team. He was a mediocre player who had an ability to lead.

ok well im still picking a upset because i think it makes things more interesting, especialy since it doestn matter becuase like i said, i thnk red wing will take this section. This would be similar to the cloquet upset. But if it doesnt happen its not a big deal.

lol i never said it was going to happen so dont be a prick on a forum. This is sections and i think anything is possible. Also, lapic and adams will play the whole game and pad stats like the always do when theyr up alot, like the mankato east game for example. All im hoping for is some good section...

alright i see where your coming from cheese, most people have not had the chacne to see them, i just live in the area....but i dont see lourdes or red wing losing to anyone until they play eachother..........lourdes have played somewhat inconsistent hockey but lets face it...they are a big time prog...

la crescent beats east 5-4...
sloppy game on both parts...La Crescent took alot of penalties...their goalie is going to have to stand on his head thursday to give them a chance...

Cheese, i think that was kind of a ignorant statement. They could stomp everyone below them besides lacrescent i think. It seems to me lk la crescent played albert lea and lourdes closer then fairbo did when they met.

does anyone else have a upset for this section in any of the games?

mine would be La Crescent over New Prague...and thats all i got...i could see west over albert lea, but i dont know how much of a upset that would be...

oh sorry i didnt catch that, but does anyone know how the bracket works? who plays who after the first round...?
