Jags just have to shut down Edina's big first line. big is the key word there, i think the size and strength of edinas forwards will give jefferson trouble. Some of jeffersons d are rather small and they may lack the strength to match up with edinas forwards. if oconnor can make some saves early it...

Re: All the marbles

A sad sight? (Homonym correction) Hardly. This is what makes Minnesota HS hockey so great. If it didn't hurt this much to lose it wouldn't mean as much when you win. Good luck to both teams. The kids will never forget this night at Mariucci. May the best team win. Perfectly put. But anyways I think...

Funny, the 1 knock I've heard on Jefferson is whether or not O'Connor will be able to answer the bell when he gets tested against the states best teams. You must know more than I. How many games has Woodley started this year? How many games did Swanson miss out on last year? i'd say Vaudreuil start...

wow i thought baker would be one of edinas top 2 scoring d. when iv seen edina he has usually been there best d. I guess with there forwards there isnt much need for him to contribute points but i would expect him to have more than 10 points.

i wonder how this will turn out should be interesting. i think jefferson would benefit more from the 1 seed since i think a game between them and AHA i see as pretty much a coin flip and i really dont see AHA upsetting edina.

Re: Section 2AA

Alright i believe most of the games are done.....so the night before the seedings you have to believe section 2AA will look like this: 1. Jefferson (Only lost once) 2. Edina (After the tough loss today giving them 5 on the year, i just dont see them above Jefferson) 3. AHA (Solid record but got wea...

That was one of the worst games I have seen Faust play...were you even there? He scored 1 on a sweet move and he shoulda had 2. What a horrible game! from what little i could tell from myfoxhockey it seemed like faust was a little more sloppy in the defensive zone then when i have seen him play in ...

Stupid opinions? Maybe ask a question or two to understand better. I put Centennial #1 because it is late in the season and the WBL loss was not only ugly but a long time ago. Since then they have lost once, tied once and lost to a good team. I have never been convinced of Jefferson's dominance. So...

Eden Prairie 2
Bloomington Jefferson 1
this is what im expecting also ep in a low scoring game. jefferson usually doesnt play nearly as well as on the road.

some of hshockeywatcher's logic doesnt make much sense to me like pointing out jefferson needing ot to beat moorhead while ranking a team who tied moorhead last week 1. But i do agree with him ranking maple grove where he did. I think the top 8 maybe 10 are all so close that it doesnt really matter.

Jefferson, like Little Falls, has no business being number one. They have a cake schedule compared to other top teams. They play a few good team, who they've done well against, but they've done poorly against bottom teams. Beating Burnsville by 2, Wayzata and Lakeville North by only 1 and Kennedy b...
