RE:
This section will be a 2 team race between I Falls and Virginia. The only reason I Falls has any chance to beat Virginia is goaltending. If they can get Walls or Hart playing their best in the playoffs along with a veteran D core they have a chance. Virginia is going to be 3 lines deep next year and...

Minnhock Rankings
Are these things a joke or what? I follow 7A very closely and did all year long. How can Marshall be ahead of Virginia? There's no logic to it. Marshall was above them all year. Including the week Virginia beat Marshall the next rankings moved Marshall up and Virginia down. There's no logic to these...

RE:
Westin may have embellished the knee a little bit but the stick he took in the neck and him laying down for it was no fake in my mind and probably many others minds.

RE:
I was lucky enough to see this first hand, and I think people who watch the thing need to realize how quick it happened. Westin is going full speed to get the puck and the goalie is sprinting full speed to get the puck. Watching the video even in a slower replay doesn't tell you how quickly it happe...

Duluth Marshall vs Virginia
who wins? why?
I say Marshall, Virginia has no big game players like Marshall. Lustig will choke.
5-1 Marshall

This section is the deepest section in single A in the state of Minnesota. My pick is still Hibbing even though they got beat up pretty bad on Tuesday. I just cant see Virginia keeping up the way they're playing. Westin has never led Virginia in big games and either has Lustig and this isnt the year...

RE:
I'm gonna say all Virginia has to do is win the final 2 games and the 1 seed is a lock for them. They will have 2 section losses (Hibbing and Falls) and so will Hibbing. With Virginia probably getting the benefit of the doubt because of recent wins over both (if they beat hibbing) and common opponen...

RE:
As much as I respect both teams and good cheering. I dont know how you can say Virginia showed no class? The tackle occured because a Hibbing student decided to flick off an entire section of Virginia fans, thats no class. And when a Virginia player gets cheapshotted from behind which should have be...

RE:
This game should be a great game to watch. I think that Virginia has the depth and goaltending edge, however can they stop Jamnick? Also can Hibbing stop Westins line, which is a very potent line. This will be thee game to see this weekend.

Thoughts, predictions, guys to watch?
Adam Krause leads the undefeated hawks into Virginia and comes away with another victory to improve to 8-0. Westin and Hendrickson are in for a long night.
6-2 Hawks.

Same arguement goes for Virginia, they started a 10th grade goalie with his 1st varsity start insted of their 3rd year starting goaltender Will Lustig.

I was not in the Falls but I find it very hard to believe Virginia played good up there and lost 6-4 and got outshot that bad. I think they probably got a little chewing out because they bounced back and beat Hopkins the next day. Westin probably took his frusturation out on Hopkins.

Predictions? I thought Rapids would get the better end of the Devils but they didnt. I dont think Virginia can win in 2 hostile environments in one week. Broncos 4-2.

RE:
I can't believe this score. I would have though Underwood would play better than Lustig, but Lustig was unbelievable. Virginia was very well defensively. 37 shots looks like alot, but they did kill 9 power play's. Rapids will be fine, Virginia may be for real or it was just a GR letdown.

A big 4 point IRC game at the Civic Center Tuesday. The loser will really be in a tough spot to win the IRC. Who do you think comes out on top?
My thought is Rapids 4-1. Virginia doesnt have much scoring. 2 against Cloquet, 0 against Little Falls. Underwood won't give up much.

I was at Virginia most of today, mainly watching Virginia. They lost to Bemidji and it wasn't pretty but I also noticed that Grivette Lustig Westin and a few others didn't play due to the amount of games so thats a bit deceving.

RE:
I am going to make a bold predicition that this is the year of the Blue Devils. Everyone else thinks its Hibbing and Marshall. Respectively they are the favorites, but I think Virginia's goaltending is great. Hendrickson will be their best player, Westin can play ok too. And a great core of defensma...
