I have a friend who has dealt with Terry Hughes and from what he says he likes him as a person and knows that he is passionate about the game of hockey. He has good things to say about him and his boy has been on the ice with him on numerous occasions and has benefitted as a hockey player. Skate To ...

I would have to agree with goalie85 on the fact that there are so many more viable options for players nowdays. Even if things are watered down from program to program - more players have the opportunity to develop and enjoy the game. I had a player that was a 93 and a younger player that is a 2000....

Maple Groves goalie played well - settled down after giving up an early goal to the Hounds. He controlled the first shots and didn't give up big rebounds. Expected the Duluth team to be more physical and after setting a fast pace to the game it seemed as the pace of the game fell into Maple Groves f...

Duluth East should handle the inexperienced Crimson squad. The only thing that will hold Maple Grove in this game is their goaltender who has made some nice improvement to his game. If he has an off night it could be worse than a 5-2 victory by Duluth East! Number 23 for the Crimson team will have t...

I don't believe the player from Hudson was flown in. It is not uncommon for AAA teams to have players from Wisc. on roster. The 96 Blades had a very talented players from Madison and Chicago on roster the last couple years - this year they are not playing for them. 97 Blades have a couple players fr...

I've seen your 97 group play and they do look like a nice group of skaters and a team moving in the right direction. SORRY I hurt your feelings since you have a high level of sensitivity - I wish your boys well mr./mrs.(?) tranny surehockey. Now just take it EASY - just having some FUN! On a hockey ...

Hopefully this is not a parent from the MACHINE or BLADES posting this topic. There are many good programs offered for this level of player and they all have different objectives with their players/teams. At the 97 Level these players are not even out of PEEWEES so lets not make comparisions between...

Doglover you are so correct in your assessment of AAA Tourneys...they have all gotten pricey! The Machine went out to Motown last year with a couple teams and showed well at both the 96 and 97 level. This year they chose to stay in town to play the MELTDOWN and have to come back the next week to par...

Murray - actually - don't feel that silly. Cannot be completely right all of the time. I was in attendance last evening and thought the CRIMSON squad played a complete game with good intensity. The better team won last night. Team got contributions from all three lines - #7 looked like the MG best f...

HSHockeyFan - That is wishful thing! If were going to bring last year into the equation I distinctly remember a 9-1 drubbing that the Cougars put on the Crimson squad in the most important game last year. Stick with this year and stop living in the past. I just do not see the Centennial team losing ...

As much as I would like to see Maple Grove prevail in this tilt I do NOT think it will happen. Anytime the CRIMSON have a big game against a highly ranked team it never seems to happen. And it won't happen this time either. They just have not been tested enough this year to convince me they can get ...

I have to go with BLAINE in this tilt on their home ice. I have a good friend that is a parent on the Maple Grove team and he clearly thinks that Maple Grove is over rated and hasn't beat anyone that would be considered a quality opponent. The crimson BEST goalie at this time as he is out due to vio...
