Best hockey shop

What is the best place in Minnesota to buy hockey equipment? (best selection, best prices) I know I can just shop online. But, I'd rather support the local economy.

The Mavs have quite the crop of talented forwards for the next few years. If, they all pan out, combined with the current young team, the Mavs could be something special for a few years.

Joe Kalinski from Mankato signed with Philly. Not a big name, but an early departure none the less. He was a big name in Mankato. His numbers didn't reflect his value to the Mavs and evidently to Philly too. Jutting said the offer they gave was worthy of a first rounder. Hard to pass up. He will be...

Sorry, kid, if you're reading this, which I hope you're not. All I did was tell people you weren't from St. Peter, and look what it's become. Anyway, I think the question was about who the best 95's are at the present time. So, forget the past. And, if you still have to talk about these kids, how ab...

Meyer is from LeSueur. No way one of the best 95's....kid he played with in same association two years ago has more talent and is a better player..Westphal. Meyer got ran out of his association for being a puck hog. Wowwwwwww like you said that meyer is a very good player he also played on the fire...

Man, I love this state. There are great stories like that around, and in, every corner. Send this to Boyd Hupert at Kare11. It sounds like a perfect one for his "Land of 10,000 Stories" segment.

It's "scary", not "scarey". And, no, I'm not. But, does it matter? I love the game. And at least when I have something to say, I'm able to do so intelligently. But really, I wasn't trying to be mean. I guess next time I joke around I'll use one of these stupid things. But ...

Excellent perspective fromthecrease, but I still think 54fighting has a point. Yes, most everywhere in the state has an association. But take a place like Sleepy Eye, for example. Could you expect a kid to develop and then be noticed in that hockey hotbed  . I know there's a Bruggeman kid from...

Thanks for the clarification PuckRanger. How recently was that rule changed? I could have sworn the Mavs lost a goal or two, that according to that rule would have been allowed, earlier this season. I could be wrong though.

Yes they can. Search pairwise at uscho.com. They are currently tied with Wisconsin for 13th. Top 14 "technically" are in. However, still hockey to play next weekend. Mavs have a strong chance but no guarantees.

According to KTOE, through gopher parents, Pohl is going to Rochester with a possible skull fracture. Unfortunate play, but I don't think it was dirty enough to warrant a game DQ, just a hard hit in an awkward place.

Shepherd's lips seemed to freeze again when the game was on the line.

WOW! WOW! WOW! This was the best game I have EVER been to (just ahead of last year's Final Five Championship). This was also the loosest game I've ever seen, fewer whistles in FIVE periods than you usually see in three. And once it hit overtime, Shepherd didn't dare make a call. Good thing for the M...

"should be able to get in". Sounds risky to me. I can't risk driving up just to miss out, even if it's going to save me a few bucks.

Chances of getting tickets

I'm planning on going up for all sessions Friday and Saturday at the X. What do I need to do to get tickets? I don't mind standing in line, but I do mind paying more than face value.

I will continue to say this. BSM's goalie is not great, he's not even good. He's been putting up great numbers against very good teams and I can't take that away from him but how he's doing it I don't know. He's slow and is out of position quite often. Yea, he really sucked shutting down Edina, Sha...

I 'd love to see West at the X. And I think they can definitely do it. However, two things have to change from their first meeting. Goalie Brueggeman has to play better. I wasn't impressed in the first meeting. Also, Leiverman can't expect to carry the puck in deep all by himself. Too many times he ...

Thanks Elliott. I have done some reading into it and realize that numbess can be linked to some very serious illnesses, including diabetes and MS. If it worsens or spreads, I will definitely get it checked out. But I have also read about numbness being caused by poor fitting skates and boots. From r...
