Artificial shooting surface

Post by SportsMa »

Looking for a recommendation on what any of you have found to be a good artificial surface for shooting and stick handling at home? Thanks in advance for your input.

4X8' or 4X10' sheets of white fiber board, very thin, flexible. They can be bought @ any Menards or home depot, $15 ish pre sheet. Scott Bjugstad uses this for his shooting schools. They do make expensive artificial ice for skating/goalies. For just shooting & stick handling these fiber sheets work perfect.

Shooting mat

For extra durability try a office floor protector (36" X 48" Chairmat)
made by Rubbermaid, office max has them for $19.95.

My kid uses it in the garage and I put it under the car when not
in use by him.
