Thoughts off the top of my head, a good pick by BSU. Maybe the best of the candidates if you're looking to grab a little edge, or increase your presence on the local recruiting front. Towards becoming more competitive, I think that's essential for Bemidji...and no easy task. I understand the program is at a disadvantage to other WCHA members in regards to available scholarships. You can also speculate that BSU may be a program that doesn't get consideration by many top players from outside Minnesota, hence my belief the Beavers need to do well / better in state. Recruiting is huge in collegiate hockey. Not to overlook my belief he's a very qualified coach who seems to have a real talent for getting the most from his players. Hope they can find a replacement at Roseville to keep that team strong as it has been for so long. Who might that be?
