Re: Moorhead Bantam B1 tourney
I'm thinking that the Cenntinal vs. Moorhead game will decide who takes the ship, but it's a very good field as well...Blaine, and Stillwater are up there, too.

With Wayzata and EP (for starters) in the tourney, you think the Championship game will be played on Friday?? Am I reading that right??

Very hard tourney to predict.

I know Wayzata did good in the Edina Tourney, finished second to Stillwater. As far as beating Shattuck, hasn't everyone beat their Tier 2 team this year

Re: RE:Moorhead Bantam B Tourny
Yes, EP handled Centennial Red in the WBL Tourney. Then Centennial beat EP in the Edina Tourney.

Wayzata Gold is a solid team, but is the secondary team in Wayzata to Wayzata Blue. Blue is the team that played in Edina and finished second. That's the team everyone needs to compare themselves to, not Gold. Blue is a very solid team.

I agree this tournament is great. Probably the biggest B1 tournament in the state this year. Every team ranked in the top 10 is in the tournament except #8 Eagan. There could be some upsets in this one but otherwise should be a great tournament with some tight games.

Re: Scores from Final Day
Thanks to EagleGuy for keeping us all informed. And congrats to his Eagles on the Championship. Long drive to play a couple of neighborhood teams.

Looks like some very close games. You boys from East that have been talking all week won the big one on Friday, but then couldn't win after that. Too much celebrating after the big win?

Wayzata still seems to have trouble with Stillwater. Was that a repeat performance of the Edina Tourney? Could make Regions interesting.

Looks like a lot of close games among the top teams. Was the hockey as good as some of the scores indicated?

MNHockeyObserver:

East is an inconsistent BB1 team. Ask them about the Cloquet tournament Quarterfinal game vs. Tonka.

Tonka is a darkhorse playing decent hockey right now.

Tonka has come on strong at the end, i will say their goalie had a unbeliveable game against Edina White with a 38 shot shut out. thats alot in D6.

Re: Scores from Final Day
Ouch Moorhead sure got spanked by WBL........looks like a lot of good teams were there.

_____________________________
www.mnhockeytalk.com

Re: roseau
especially when roseau and stillwater teams went off the ice and the roseau team was waiting for the key to get into the locker room and stillwater made the comment we are state material and roseau beat them. They must of got to cockey for their britches. Also Roseau played a very awesome game against them.
