EX SCSU Player Conboy Bertuzzi's player in MIDWEST COLLEGE

I heard that Tim Conboy, former Huskie and now an AHL player Todd Bertuzzi'd a player in the Midwest College league a couple of weeks ago. I have not heard to many details but I guess it was just as bad as the Bertuzzi deal. Player went into convultions and it was not a pretty sight. I guess there has been charges filed and the whole deal. Doesn't suprise me that Conboy would do that. <p></p><i></i>

Hey Scheidz, you know me, I played in that game and was the goalie on the ice and saw it happen. It was exatly like what Bertuzzi did to the Colorado player. Everyone in the stands started to yell and scream when he started to go into convultions, it was the scariest thing i have seen. It was after the play and he came off the bench. <p></p><i></i>

If you are who I'm thinking of, you graduated this year, and had my brother as a SM.<br><br>Again, it doesn't surprise me at all that Conboy pulled a stunt like this. He was, is, and always will be a goon. The kid does have some talent, I'll give him that, but if he never played another game of hockey, I wouldn't be upset. Its time someone stepped up and made an example out of the scumbags who pull crap like this. I think handing out a lifetime ban from playing Pro Hockey would put an end to this pretty quick. <br><br>Yeah, I know...I'm dreaming.<br><br>P.S. This thread needs a cup of coffee. Hey Shoutout035 you obviously don't know what you are talking about even though you appear to have been there. I was there, I was ON the bench and I talked to him and the refs and trainer and coaches. He didn't come off the bench he was already on the ice as even parents in the stands said. He didn't hit the kid from behind like is implied. The kid that went into convulsions had his arm cocked and was ready to cold @#%$ another kid from behind when Tim grabbed him. Tim basically put him in a bear hug but the kids helmet fell off because he doesn't know how to wear it. Yes it was sad and yes it was scary. Tim felt bad but tell the whole story that your guy was going to bertuzzi a guy from behind. If it was really so bad then how come he wasn't kicked out of the league the rest of the year....and don't say he was cuz he wasn't. <p></p><i></i>

Regardless of what he may have done on ice, Tim's got some off ice trouble. CBS news reported today he was stopped in Waite Park last night with a blood/alcohol level of .15. Cops additionally found cocaine in his vehicle. <br><br>Innocent until proven guilty and all that, but... <p></p><i></i>
