Women's Olympic Team Announcement December 27

USA Hockey will be announcing the 20 women who will be members of the 2006 Olympic Team at the Mall of America in Bloomington, Minnesota, at 1:00 p.m. on December 27 in the Rotunda. USA Hockey and Minnesota Hockey have invited 80 Minnesota female hockey players to attend and be a part of this historic event at the Mall of America. The Olympic players will sign autographs after the announcement. Later that evening the Women's Olympic Team will participate in a Fantasy Skate at Mariucci Arena from 6:15-7:15 p.m. Approximately 40 female skaters registered with Minnesota Hockey will have the opportunity to be on the ice with the Olympians. Both events are open to the public. On December 30 the US Women's Olympic Team will take on Canada at the Xcel Energy Center as part of the Hilton Family Skate to 2006 Tour at 7:00 p.m. <br><br>Become a part of history and show your support of the Minnesota players selected to the Olympic Team by attending these events. Put Minnesota on the map as the "State of Hockey" for females. <p></p><i></i>
