Will North Dakota make the NCAA Tourney?

I'm not sure that they will. If they don't make the final five I think they will be a long shot. They might get some sympathy because they host a region and the NCAA will want to make money. <p></p><i></i>

you said it, they are a HOST school there is no way the selection committee will leave them out. money, money, money. The only way to leave them out would be the slim chance of both Bemidji st and duluth making the tourny along with the gophers and those 3 being placed in the west region along with someone else. that would be the only way to fill the stands. and we know duluth would have to win the final five to make the NCAA's very small chance. <p></p><i></i>

As of this morning, that question has been officially answered... Not only have they made the NCAA Tournament but they seem to be the favorite to come out of the western region over Minnesota and Michigan! The Gophers seemed to have a rough WCHA Final Five and North Dakota did very well... Maybe ND is poised to make a legitimate run at the NCAA title this year...<br> <p></p><i></i>

They will make it to the frozen four. I mean come on they have one of the toughest rinks to play in for visiting teams, they are the host of their region, and they are on fire as of late. <p></p><i></i>

So they did make it in, but how can you say they have the toughest arena for visiting teams to play in? I'm pretty sure the gophers did sweep them on their home ice this season. and you can say all you want about the rough weekend the gopher's had but they always seem to struggle in the Final Five for whatever reason, Minnesota will use that as motivation and Potulny and Irmen will come out flying in their home state, UND will not make the frozen four! <p></p><i></i>

The flynn and hendy show! Is ND 'In like flynn' or 'hendy's tough guys'... ? Now that ND is in the NCAA tourney maybe we can modify this post to ask if ND will make it to the Frozen Four? <br><br>I do think it is possible but ND might not make it past the first round even in thier own barn...<br> <p></p><i></i>

Depends on if they use the home ice to their advantage, and I think they will. I'm a Gopher fan, but I just have a feeling they will use their home ice to their advantage. <p></p><i></i>
