Must be invisible too. Rapids didn't suit a 10.

What do neutral onlookers think of the Grand Rapids squad, has their goaltending been good? Anyone besides White stand out?

I wasn't really that impressed with rapids. If that was there whole team they might have a tough time contending this year.

not whole team

Post by INDIANSFOREVER »

Just got an email from someone in Rapids and two of the defensemen there won't be varsity players this year, not sure about the forwards, but I also heard TRF's top line was out every other shift and Rapids evenly rotated their lines. GR had one top defensemen not there, which can be huge. All said, it's summer hockey and the scores can be very misleading as to who will be who when the real thing gets going in late November. Gotta like GR's chances though with one of the top forwards in the country.

I am currently going to summer school at Duluth and took in the games over the weekend. TRF was clearly the best team as they were the week before in Grand Rapids. I know on Sunday TRF only had 13 skaters dressed so people will see a bunch of ice. I know TRF was missing 2 of their top 5 d and 5 of their top 10 forwards. It was a very entertaining game as both teams played hard. Forney-Philipp-Norghagen were the best forwards in the tournament.
