Keegan Karki (NTDP)
Saw a tweet from Brad Schlossman of the Grand Forks Herald that said according to the NTDP roster, goalie Keegan Karki is no longer committed to UND. Anyone have any idea why? Could it have to do with the off-the-ice incident or he is planning on playing somewhere else?

Sorry I didn't respond sooner.. I am not entirely sure what the incident was so I would rather not speculate without knowing what is true. Just heard through the grapevine that some incident occurred, possibly while overseas for a tournament. I was not trying to put down any certain players, but was more curious if anyone and heard anything more concrete on his playing status moving forward.... specifically as far as it pertains to UNDTheMNhockey1 wrote:I wish i knew toozamboniexhaustinhaler wrote:![]()

Wishful thinking
Bob Vance, Vance Refrigeration
Karki was recently suspended from the NTDP before he recommitted, I heard a couple of rumors as to why.
1. He got caught up in drugs/alcohol multiple times over the course of the season.
2. He was caught out after curfew, supposedly with some ladies.
Again, these are both just rumors, but some food for thought here. I'm sure the reason for the decommitment is directly related to his suspension. He did post on Snapchat saying that it was "his choice to leave and that he will choose a new school soon" but I have a tough time buying that.

He missed 7 games, and prior to that he started mostly every game, so my best bet would be that's when he was suspended. He is still on the team.MrBoDangles wrote:Was he kicked off the ntdp team? If not, the decommit is probably not about disciplinary reasons.. They would let him go much quicker than ND..... I would think.
