Woah!!!!, no offense but must have been a late night..the DE, EP, centennial and omg pool the toughest pool top to bottom. You have EP not winning one game in pool play? They just took down the Skippers(maybe you should have covered that game). Then you have the Skippers finally taking down Edina??? Don't think so... Not this time. No way no how! Edina too deep defensively and will man handle the skippers as usual. I wouldn't read too much into this tourney as far as winning /losing. Hornets and eagles will be short. Thinking PL will come out their pool. They are playing good hockey right now, they started the season off slow This should be a fun filled hockey weekend in WBL.
61... Thanks for your coverage of this and your opinions and insight but not giving some teams enough props... Others too many.
Bottom line: Hornets win again..

Not sure that tired of losing to Edina is a good enough reason for the upset - need to come up with something better, like picking up Parise and Suter for the weekend - that might do it.frederick61 wrote:Just posted a preview of the White Bear Lake tourney being played this weekend at Vadnais Heights. So you're sayin' this might be the "One game. If we played 'em ten times, they might win nine. But not this game. Not tonight. Tonight, we skate with them. Tonight, we stay with them. And we shut them down because we can!"

It's to easy to pick Edina every tournament. Your out on a limb and that is fine/fun! If you pick Edina - nobody would comment. Thanks for your continued insights...frederick61 wrote:Just posted a preview of the White Bear Lake tourney being played this weekend at Vadnais Heights. First game is played tonight (Thursday)

Just posted the game story on the opening peewee AA tourney game between Edina AA and Lakeville North. It was a good game and actually became a coaches dual in the second period.
It can be read at:

Let's see: 5-2 win in a game where they had 4 players on the bench in street clothes, shots were 46-11 and yet they're closing the gap. Sounds a little like wishful thinking to me. I guess we'll see over the rest of the weekend.frederick61 wrote:Just posted the game story on the opening peewee AA tourney game between Edina AA and Lakeville North. Why do you think elite teams travel great distances to find tough competition??Bluewhitefan wrote:Let's see: 5-2 win in a game where they had 4 players on the bench in street clothes, shots were 46-11 and yet they're closing the gap. Edina parent after 10-RIP game in the winter: "HOOORAY"!!!

Edina parent after a 10-RIP gane in the summer: "Well, that was a total waste of time".

You should be happy about the closer games, but all you have is trophy on the mind.
There's a reason why Edina doesn't put out world class players like they should.

Take your medication please. I don't care what they do! I could care less if they win by 20, lose by 20 whatever. I simply was questioning the idea that LN was closing the gap when the description of the game sounded like Edina had greatly outplayed them with 11 skaters. People want to believe the gap is closing, but I doubt anyone will beat them. All the more reason for them to have more teams at the top - but that's their call not mine.

What? ALL your posts are strictly about Edina.Bluewhitefan wrote:Again - I don't care, but obviously you do.MrBoDangles wrote:Repeat: Panties in a bunch over a closer game than usual..
You think you're throwing people off with Bluewhitefan as a name?
You're obviously very interested and care about what's going on with Edina Hockey.

So I know something about Edina, so what? It doesn't mean I care what their PWAA team does. I have no kid on the team, nor in the association. I chose my moniker for my own reasons BO not to hide my love for Edina. I know people in Edina and am familiar with their teams, just as many people here are - so what? You've never really responded to my post which was a critique of Freddy's article - nothing more. Instead you jumped on it as though I was cheerleading for Edina. Learn how to read BO! BTW, your extensive use of Emoticons shows how brilliant you are.MrBoDangles wrote:What?
