Session III: September 17 – 26, 2012
Intensity Hockey will be led by Miracle Gold Lead Instructor Sean Molin. This session is strategically placed as a pre-tryout tune up which will increase on-ice endurance and player development.
Skater Schedule
• » Seven 1.5 hours sessions over ten days
• » 10.5 hours of ice as a pre-tryout tune up
• » 1.5 hour on-ice per session will include:
◦ » 45 minutes - Skating
◦ » 30 minutes - Stick Handling
◦ » 15 minutes – Small Area Games (SAG)
Specific Skill Focuses
• » Skating – Explosive starts, turns and stops, forward and backward strides, overspeed
• » Stick-handling – Proper mechanics, dribbling, dekes and fakes, puck control
• » Small area games – Heads up play, footwork and multi-tasking
Divisions Offered
• » Mite/Squirt; Peewee/Bantam
