.....http://www.mnicemen.com/ has some scores too.

But they're really not doing a good job keeping up this year.

Also, what are they doing at the '03 level, they have the Orange and Legacy in a bracket with a bunch of open teams and they are outshooting them 79-3 and 73-0, respectively. Seems like there must have been something different they could have done there?

I was at MM yesterday covering a few games.

02 Blades beat 02 Euro 8-2, one kid had 4 goals
02 Machine were beating MN Playmakers handily

Note: Blades brought boy wonder from Missouri in for the Caribou to play goalie, no sign of either "Blades" goalie to be found on the bench. I could have played nets for them yesterday and it wouldn't have mattered. They are the best team I've seen at this level.

Some very nice players at the Squirt level this year. District 10 may lead the pack in nice players in the '02 class.

02 Machine nip 02 Euros 2-1 on late 3rd period goal.

Those two figure to meet again Sunday in semis, the winner gets The Brickin' Blades.

Do you feel blame lies more with the Euros or the Americans?

Does anyone know how the 99 Velocity team did this weekend? I know there was some hype about this years team. I haven't heard anything about them. I didn't see them playing today.

Fred you stated in your account of the game that the first period ended 2-1 for the ice edge, Nats won the game 2-1. I guess this would be a mistake and should have been 1-0, not to be picky but this type of mistake is common at yhh . Maybe Tony should put down the donuts and do alittle proof reading .

2112,
Thank you. It has been corrected. Tony does not edit my posts, so he can't be blamed. This type of mistake is not common, but we correct as soon as we realize it.

An interesting error is the one the Canadian Press made on the Women's U18 first game with the USA. They give the winning goal to the wrong player and the official USA stats are correct, but Hockey Canada has not changed the write-up. YHH caught the error because we have the pictures of the two goals.

We try to be accurate, but we acknowlege we are not perfect and mistakes will happen. Note that Tony does not eat donuts, he more like the Tasmania Devil, always on the move.

Thanks. I know there was a lot of hype with this years Velocity 99 team. I haven't heard a lot about the team this year. But to play in the C division in the Caribou cup isn't good. This time of the year they should have all their players.
